It's been five generations after the first war between Samurai and Shinobi. The five villages were founded shortly after and there has never been a war between them. Until now, all five villages have been off limits to the outside world, however the gates have been opened and ninja were allowed to travel between. But suddenly, kage are falling ill and no one knows who's behind it. The Hokage and Raikage both lie in comatose state, awaiting an answer as to what put them there.

Kiri Genin

NAME: Tōshō "Frosty" Tōketsu
AGE: Eleven.
GENDER: Female.
CLAN: Tōketsu.
VILLAGE: Kumogakure no Sato.

APPEARANCE DESCRIPTION: As with most members of the Tōketsu clan, Tōshō is a child born with blonde hair that’s a few shades darker than her sister’s, some want to call the color ash blonde. Either way, unlike her sister, she doesn’t have a whole lot of hair. Her hair is long, don’t get her wrong, it flows pass her shoulder and goes to about the middle of her back, but when compared to her sister’s whose hair is basically the length of her body, Tōshō doesn’t have a whole lot of hair. It’s rather messy looking even though it’s tied into two loose pigtails that are over her shoulder, though most noticeable is the piece of hair that sticks up at the center of her head, called an ahoge. As for her eyes, well she has big eyes with green irises. And her skin is without a single scar or blemish though there would be no reason for one to be on her body. And like her older sister, Tōshō has a tattoo of the family crest on her back, and like her sister, it takes up a large portion of her back. She's four feet five inches and weighs eighty-six pounds.

When it comes to attire, one has come to expect nothing but dresses from Tōshō, the child seems to despise pants or perhaps it’s her sister who despises pants on her, either way one shall never catch Tōshō wearing pants. Dresses, skirts, and blouses is what she wears, and her most worn dress is a pink one with random lines going throughout it. A long-sleeved blouse with an attached dark purple collar bordering on black and a ribbon of the same color underneath. On her feet are white socks with pink frills at the top and when it comes to shoes, brown maryjanes can do no wrong.

PERSONALITY:  Being the baby sister of a somewhat large household, and the sister of a very protective Tōki, Tōshō parent’s cannot say that her personality hasn’t been influenced by her older sister just a little bit. Though the child is a soft-spoken individual who is kind as much as she’s friendly, the kid obviously doesn’t know how to handle any situation that may be deemed, uh, difficult. With Tōki having protected her throughout her entire life, shielding her from the negativity and hardships that the world wanted to desperately throw at her, it’s only natural that the child cannot handle such things on her own. She has never experienced anger in her life, fear on very few occasions, hostility on a couple occasions though she hadn’t noticed such things, and she cannot deal with depressed people. When dealing with situations that she cannot handle, she gets frustrated and that frustration can lead to tears being shed by the Tōketsu for no discernible reason. It’s rather obvious to anyone that knows Tōki and Tōshō that the latter of the two is rather dependent on the former and that the former has impaired Tōshō’s abilities to cope and handle certain situations on her own. Everyone but Tōshō can see that her sister is keeping her in a box of naivety, either in the hopes of maintaining her innocence or simply because she’s overly protective of the eleven-year-old.

Tōshō is the sort of person incapable of dancing around the truth, incapable of being a mean spirited individual, and somebody incapable of standing up for herself. She isn’t rude, arrogant, or condescending, nor is she the sort of person to raise her voice. One can walk all over the Tōketsu if they wanted to, and possibly could if not for the presence of Tōki. Tōshō is easily frighten, incapable of fighting anyone with the intent to win, and can come off a little timid and shy despite the fact she’s friendly. She does want to improve herself though, wanting to become just like her older sister, a person who can stand up for themselves, doesn’t allow people to walk all over her, and is okay with getting loud so long as her words and opinions are heard. But for now, Tōshō is the kid that is kind, friendly, smart, out-going, energetic, and loves surrounding herself with the brightest people Kumo, and the world, has to offer.

BACKSTORY: Tōshō Tōketsu is the youngest daughter, youngest child period, of the small Tōketsu family of six and she’s the last addition to the family. As the youngest of the family, her parents were unable to shower her with the same amount of attention as they had with her three older siblings for they were far too busy working in order to support their four children. Thusly so, her care fell into the hands of her older siblings, Tomoe and Tatsuya, and though Tōki was only four at the time of her birth, the little girl also helped care for the youngest member of the family. Since she came into the world, Tōshō had been given plenty of loving from her family, and a lot of that love came from older sister Tōki. With her rarely being out of the presence of the third child of the household and with said child entertaining her throughout the years, Tōshō has become very dependent on Tōki, though sometimes the older girl can be a bit cruel. Either way, the first three years of Tōshō’s life can be considered normal. She had both parents, lived in a nice home, and had several siblings that cared for her when her parents could not. Everything was normal… that’s until she turned four.

Tōshō changed drastically when she turned four, and it was something her entire family noticed right away. She was less lively, tired all the time, seemed to be confused half the time, she felt and looked weak. They hadn’t thought anything of it at first, believing that the little one was simply ill and would bounce back in a couple days, but they were very concerned when nothing changed a week later. Tōki demanded that her sister be sent to the hospital so that Tōshō can be examined, but her parents wanted to give it a couple more days before they resorted to the doctors. Her parents went to work and her siblings went to the academy, eight-year-old Tōki stayed behind, refusing to leave her ill sister in the house alone. She was kept to her bed and fed soup, but this did little to help the poor girl and without warning she suddenly passed out. It gave Tōki quite the scare, and the eight-year-old rushed the four-year-old to the hospital. The doctors took her from her sister, much to Tōki distress, and she was rushed into the intensive care unit, her parents notified of the situation.

The family would soon gather at the hospital, all rather scared and worried about the youngest member of their family and seeking answers to Tōshō’s symptoms. A couple hours after being emitted to the hospital, Tōshō would awake and the doctors would allow the family to see her, though only after telling the parents that Tōshō had suffered from anemia caused by an iron deficiency. The treatment was simple, she needed to eat more iron rich food, and thus the family could calm down. Tōshō was discharged from the hospital the next day and returned to her normal self a week later, though after that scare Tōki was more protective and watchful of Tōshō than she had been before. After that crisis, Tōshō’s days returned to normal, she started lessons at five, went to the academy at eight, and graduated at eleven.
