Personality Description: Wave is shown to be highly perceptive, observant, discerning, analytical, intelligent, very quick-witted, controlled, disciplined and clear-headed, quick-thinking, showing a great maturity, responsibility and intuitiveness; rarely being caught off guard or deceived. He rarely shows any sign of alarm or distress, and often has entire situations planned out well in advance. Wave is very perceptive, fully aware of the limits of his abilities, and anything he states in comparison to an opponent is usually justified. A person with incredibly strong resolve, Wave will do anything and everything in his power to accomplish something that's important to him, without any hesitation. Wave has a macabre sense of humor.
Wave is a proficient in manipulation, either by subtly corrupting his target's own goals, omitting parts of stories or events to his own benefit, or by appearing to share their beliefs. Wave is a strong believer than the ends make up for the means and is willing to do things of a dark nature in order to achieve something good or vice versa. Wave also believes that you should be able to settle things through words but will fighting needed or he just wants to. Wave is a dedicated scholar believing that knowledge is power like many greats before him. In battle Wave is fearless and is willing to kill anyone, but would prefer not to. He is usually quiet when fighting.
Along with his many other characteristics Wave is a kind and caring person with a deep sense of loyalty, great charisma, and skill in negotiation. He is also at the same time a bit of a loner and can be seen with a near permanent scowl on his face. Wave is an idealist by nature, and always looked towards the prospect of a brighter tomorrow. He always gave people the benefit of the doubt, he is also very modest. Sometimes Wave can be seen as arrogant and over confident. He sometimes even acts as if he has a superiority complex even though for the most part it is not true. Finally Wave even with all his personality pros and cons is for the most part a laid back guy.
He is known to be a violent fighter, but his actions tend to be for the best. Wave lives for battle, and enjoys a good fight more than anything. He even holds back in an effort to make any fight last longer. He claims injury and death are nothing but the price one pays for a good fight. Despite his tendency to be brutal, Wave usually stops a fight if his opponent is too injured to fight back, claiming he is not interested in fighting "weaklings who can't fight anymore", and he does not feel obligated to deal a death blow to anyone who cannot fight any longer. However, he will unhesitatingly kill his opponent if they refuse to end their fight. On multiple occasions, Wave has shown to greatly respect those who can defeat him in a fight and those who can push him to his limit.
Wave sometimes contradicts his own logic in fighting. On the one hand, Wave wishes to increase his own personal power. On the other hand, he conceals his strength to enjoy a fight for as long as possible. Although he thrives for battle, Wave does have emotions.

Background:
History: As a young boy Wave was raised in the Kisemu clan. He was born to a father named Marcellus and a mother named India. At around the age of 4 the young Wave had began to take a liking to swords and bladed weapons, so his father got him a master swordsman teacher. By the age of 9 he had become a master swordsman, however he now needed to know how to handle a beating. He then underwent intense endurance and proper armor usage training as well as hand to hand combat training. He did this all while attending the academy learning to use basic ninjutsu and other academy skills. After completing all his academy and personal training he became a genin and took the chunin exam the first chance he got. He passed the chunin exam with ease and became a well known ninja in the village. After a while Wave was promoted to a jonin and after that he went his own way. He had went on to join the anbu black ops for a while, and after that he was further recognized as a strong village figure. Around the time Wave turned 17 he was had started to see the world as a dark, dirty, and corrupt place. His hatred started where the heart was, his home aka the hidden sand village. This dislike grew and grew for several months until Wave had heard about a rebel group that was trying to change the fate of his long corrupt village. So naturally he began to seek out this group so that he could join and help defeat the corruption. After a while he found this group and he soon joined them. After a while Wave had begun to rise in the ranks of this group and they made many advances in their war against the corruption, however nothing seemed to change. After a while Wave left the village so that he could go on a learning and vision quest and see a different side of the world. He left for one and a half years while he was gone he spent all this time away from people up in the mountains for half that time and the other half of that time was spent in the forest. He worked out and trained most of his day and the other time he spent reading many different books and things. In his time out in the forest he found out about his clan's secret ability. Little did he know after his birth he had a parasite implanted in him, and it was now finally beginning to truly work. He found out that when he ate things they became a part of him. He tested this on a rock first and his skin became hard as a rock. He even had the ability to revert it back to his true form. Wave was now 19 and so his training quest was now over and he know knew his place in life, so he thought it was time to return home. When he finally returned home he saw that nothing had changed and he was sickened by this. He then became a vigilante who wore a white mask known only as the mask. Wave continues this venture in hopes that he will one day cleanse his village of corruption. However he was brought back into the rebel group when they found out he had returned to town.

- While in the desert of the void Wave not knowing how to get home. As he sat thinking about how he and his friends could get home he began to meditate. He sat down in the sand in a legs crisscrossed position. He went deep into thought and slowly but surely his mind seemed to drift off. As his mind drifted off Wave fell asleep and his soul left his body, and flew upward into the sky. His soul flew high into the void's sky and broke the inter-dimensional barrier that separated the void from the earth. Then his soul went through the earth's sky and up beyond the clouds until it broke the barrier between the spirit world and earth. Waves soul was now in the spirit world, while his body was still in the void. Upon his soul's arrival n the void Wave was most surprised as he had no clue where he was. After surveying his surroundings he saw that he was in a forest, a very green and luscious forest. He then began to walk around the forest as he thought to himself "Where the hell am I? What is this place I thought I was just inside a desert?" As Wave walked through the forest he saw many things he wouldn't normally see in the forest outside of Focus City. There were many strange plants and also very strange types of animals most of which were harmless. After walking for about 30 minutes or so Wave ran into a animal that was about the size of a small house and it looked like a monkey. A silverback gorilla with 10 eyes to be exact. The ape began to growl and hiss at Wave, and Wave stared at it almost as if he was frozen in place. Suddenly out of nowhere a man came from out of nowhere and stood before Wave. He appeared as a man wearing what appeared to be a ninja rob so none of his body except his eyes were visible, but Wave couldnt see that since he was standing behind him. The man threw down a smoke bomb and that disoriented the beast as he flew up from off the ground and carried Wave away. Wave was now in so much shock that he passed out and was now in the arms of the flying man who saved him. When Wave woke up he was laying in a bed with a rag on his face, and when he looked to the left there was the man who saved him sitting on the floor meditating. He looked p when he saw that Wave was awake and said "You have finally woken up my student." Wave looked to him with a confused look and said "Listen pal im not your student. Thanks for saving me and all but im not your student. You must not know who I am." The man laughed when Wave said that. The man then took his hood off to reveal a older gentlemen who appeared to be in his 30s with silver hair. "Wave trust me you are here for a reason and that reason is to get stronger. But I know you probably more than you know yourself." When Wave saw that man it was revealed to be Zangetsu the man who helped him learn to hone his abilities when he was just a small child. Wave shed one small tear out of his left eye as he got up and jumped into Zangetsu's arms. "Zangetsu where am I?" Wave asked him while still hugging him like a child would hug his father. Zangetsu looked to Wave and told him "You are in the spirit world my boy. This is essentially heaven to all those on earth." Wave was glad to finally know where he as but after a few minutes he began to come back to reality. He heard Zangetsu say spirit world which would mean he is dead. It would mean his former master is dead. "Zangetsu what happened how could you of all people die!?!?! How am I dead this just can't be happening like I was just meditating in the void. So how did I die and end up here?" Zangesu began to laugh at how Wave was panicking and said "I will explain it all to you. First of you are not dead your soul has moved from your body so technically you are dead but you may return to it once your journey here is done. Secondly I died right after you left from training under me. I never told you that I was fatally ill with cancer so that you wouldnt worry about me. Some things not even chi could heal after a certain point." Wave was overwhelmed by this and began to cry greatly, even though he was not an emotional person this was the man that taught him everything he knows so it was bound to hit hard. Wave looked to Zangetsu and said while wipping tears off his face "Why am I here master?" Zangetsu smiled and said "Stop crying you damn baby. But the answer is simple I brought you here to teach you about a new technique I learned while up here. It seems like its all the rage among spirits since its much easier for us to use than humans. Its call synchronization." Wave laughed and said "What type of dumb name is that? It sounds like a toy or something." Zangetsu gave Wave a serious look and he said "Oh so you were serious? My bad..." Zangetsu cleared his throat and said "Anyway... Im going to teach you how to use it my boy! And after that I will send you on your way. Come let us go out into the mountains to begin your training." Wave and Zangetsu then packed overnight bags to head up into the mountains. The hike from Zangetsu's forest house to the top of the muntains took about 5 hours, after which Wave was kinda tired but Zangetsu seemed unphased by it. Once at the top Zangetsu and Wave set up camp inside of a small shallow cave, and Zangetsu also set up a mock classroom so he could teach Wave. "Lesson number 1. What is synchronization, it is an ability passed down throughout the strongest fighters in a generation. It is used so that the legacy of the 6 masters could live on forever. How it works, synchronization uses 2 extra sources of power compared to regular chi. Regular chi uses base chi plus your affinity to mold the raw chi into elemental chi. Synchronization adds natural energy into the mix, and once you get strong enough you can channel one of the masters themselves. Dont get to excited though you got a bit of a ways before that happens. Lesson number 2, learning how to use it. In order to use synchronization use must synchronize with the earth and the master you are connected to. This allows you to enter your synchronized state which yields man benefits, flying isnt one of them in case you were wondering." Wave began to laugh at his master's joke until Zangetsu gave him a very stern and serious look so he stopped. "Back to business. There are 8 gates or levels to synchronization you start off with 1 and open all 8, however the last gate will lock itself once you unlock it because its power is to be used as a final resort. The other gates on the other hand will always stay active. Today I will be training you in the use of the first gate, which is dubbed the gate of opening. This gate is probably the most special since its the only one that affects you outside of your synchronized state. In order to open this gate you need a instant high amount of spirit chi." Wave was taken back when Zangetsu said spirit chi. And in response he said what any normal person would say. "Zangetsu what in the actual fuck is spirit chi?" Zangetsu laughed so loud you could probably hear it at the bottom of the mountain. "Well spirit chi is chi that comes from the spirit world duh. One drop of spirit chi could be compared to 100 drops of chi from earth to simplify it." Wave's eyes widened as Zangetsu looked at him and said "Get ready for the training of a lifetime." The two trained for 10 days and 9 nights and on the 9th night they took a break. Wave found it surprising how long one could last in top physical form while in the spirt worl, no human could fight that long in top shop on earth they would have gotten tired after the first day or two. After the duo woke up on the 11th day the two began to talk some more. This time their conversation was about the master to whom which Wave would be connected to. "Tell me Wave what path have you started to follow since you left my house that day." Wave then began to think and after he thought for a while he said "The path to power, but not power for myself. I want power so I may protect those close to me. And once others see my power they will thrive to get stronger then I wont feel like im all alone! But I also feel like a much darker person, not dark in a sense of evil but dark in a sense of neutrality." Zangetsu shook his head and said "I see so you were in the right place you will have to go back to the void and find him once you finish here. The master you seek cant be found here. And depending on if you truly do connect with him you may never be allowed in the spirit world again. But in any case we still have much training to do." Zangetsu reached inside of Wave's chest and pulled out a orb of electricity. The orb was Wave's chi as a collective without it he would never be able to use chi again. Zangetsu took the orb and gave it to a manikin type doll that when infused with it became an exact copy of Wave only with very pale skin. The Wave Copy then went charging at Wave at full speed preparing an attack. The two went back and forth clashing , though about halfway through the fight Wave realized the copy still had his suppression patch on his eye. With that he figured he must have also had it on, and with that he took it off and a surge of energy flew through the cave. Immediately after Wave removed his patch the copy did the same and a very identical surge came about. The original and copy Wave were now at full power and the real Wave seemed to be winning the fight, but that was only because the copy seemed to not being able to handle the full power Wave possessed. Wave went in fr his final strike and he reached into the chest cavity of the copy right where the heart would be. And with that Wave pulled it out, it wasnt its heart but it was Wave's chi! The clone then dropped to the ground and then returned to its original doll self. Zangetsu clapped for Wave who had feated himself by what appeared a fluke but a win none the less. "Now its time my boy for us to begin the ceramony of opening the 1st gate. But we need some things first. We need all the things on this list and dont come back till tomorrow. There is a market a half day walk from here to the east get all the stuff there." Wave nodded as he made his way down the mountain and to the market. The walk was 4 hours to get down te mountain and 11 hours to get to the market for a total of 15 hours. Once at the market he went around asking people for the stuff on the list. The first thing was spirit chalk, a special type of writing utensil made completely of chi. The second thing was linking berries, a special type of fruit. And the third and final thing was a knife known as the ceremonial knife of souls. After gathering all of the items he made the 15 hour trip back to the top of the mountain, and it was now about 2 o'clock in the morning. Zangetsu was up and waiting for Wave's return. "Hurry we must do this before the sun rises!" he said with great haste to Wave as he got the spirit chalk and began to draw a large square inside the cave floor. He then instructed Wavee to take the berries and squash them all up together in the pot he had by the fireplace and then heat them up with the fire. After the squashed berries had reached a boil, Zangetsu was done drawing the square which had now looked like a gate that was closed. "Wave let the berries cool off then bring the pot over here and we will eat them. They are called linking berries because they make a strong connection between the people who eat them together." After the berries cooled off Wave brought them over to Zangetsu where they then ate them together and the bond was formed. Now was the hard part the actual ceremony. "All you have to do is sit on the gate I drew. Sit exactly like how you were sitting when you were in the void, direction, facial expression and all." Wave did as Zangetsu directed him, and the ceremony begun. Zangetsu cut himself on all 4 of his limbs, with x shapped cuts. He then began to speak an incantation which caused him to glow along with Wave. Zangetsu then turned into chi and entered Wave's body thus giving him the jump start of spirit chi he needed. The gate Zangetsu drew on the cave floor then began to open similar to how Wave's actual gate was opening. The chi that was Zangetsu then exited Wave's body and took on its form again. "Now Wave use your own chi to push on the gate. Just send it in a motion similar to letting it out of your body!" Wave began to push the gate the rest of the way open. The process took several hours but right before day break it happened. Wave had finally opened the gate. Zangetsu was knocked out due to over exerting himself. At that point Wave dragged himfurther into the cave and put a blanket on him. He hugged Zangetsu before he said "Goodbye old man I'll be back one day soon hopefully." Wave's soul then took flight and went back down into the void. Wave's soul then returned to his body where he could immediately feel a instant surge in power. This was a sign to show him that he had opened his first gate and nlocked the first level of synchronization.
