Squad Two Meet Up (Private) (Kritika,Minoki,and Jigoku)

Kritika sat on a high log in a perching position.Today was the day of Team Two`s first squad meeting. They didn`t have a squad leader yet,so Kritika had to be the temporary Leader until then. His squad mates were supposed to be a Senju and an Uchiha. Great. The two had to be here any minute by now.

Kritika already had a scheduled list of what they were going to do today. Introductions,training match,ramen. Kritika had already tested the Uchiha`s skills once,but he didn`t even try then. He expected great things from a squad made up of some of the best clans in Konoha. Kritika looked at his watch. Late...

Minoki was finally at the training field. She saw one of her teammates sitting on a tall log. Minoki bowed. "I`m Minoki Senju! I`m very sorry for being late!" Minoki stopped bowing and turned to a log. "I hope you dont mind,I`m going to be doing some training." Minoki punched the log repeatedly. Her fist started to hurt,so she immediately stopped.

Strangely,her teammate wasn`t speaking. Minoki could tell that he was a Hyuuga by looking at his eyes. But where was their other teammate? He must of been late like her. He remembered that the third member was supposed to be an Uchiha. Minoki knew that the Uchiha was one of the oldest and most powerful clan in history,other than her clan,the Senju,of course. The brown haired boy still wasn`t talking. He looked to be about the same age as her. She knew they didn`t have a squad leader yet,and she was anxious to get one.

Minoki wondered what they would do at this meeting. She was excited,because she could live her life as a real ninja because she had a squad now. The boy looked like he was thinking about something,but she couldn`t tell for sure. Minoki decided to sit down and meditate,a practice passed down in the Senju clan.

The young 11 year old Uchiha trudged through the early morning mist. The sun rose lazily just over the horizon, hanging in a half limbo state. Even the sun was tired today. There were no birds chirping and a slight chill could be felt in the air as it had not completely rose yet. Jigoku's steps echoed in the wake of their solitude. They seemed to be the lone activity in the world, as if everything and everyone else were simply cut off. Distant. Alien. The dirt beneath the feet of the young Uchiha was soft as he padded along his path, silencing his steps even though he made no effort to.

All of the outside stillness made the activity within the boy's mind seem out of place. Even his inner voice that dominated his thoughts seemed questioning and slurred. Jigoku knew he was supposed to he paired up with some pretty gifted ninja who did quite well in the academy and hailed from the two most powerful clans of the village - other than the Uchiha that is. They had no Jounin mentor though, so their team was at a severe disadvantage compared to the others. They would have no one to develop and grow under. The team would have to elect a leader, Genin leading Genin. Blind leading the blind. A sigh escaped the parted lips of the young boy as he dreaded what was to come.

The boy finally arrived at the training field they were to meet at. The other two were already there, which made it apparent that he was late. The area was about 30 meters by 20 meters and had trees lining the perimeter. The ground was plain dirt and there were Taijutsu training dummies on the far northern side of the training field.


Jigoku spoke in a low voice, but it carried very well in the early morning stillness. "I am Jigoku Uchiha the Second. It is very nice to meet the two of you. Seeing as we are devoid of a Jounin leader, I would like to be team leader. Do either of you object to this motion?"

Kritika jumped off of his log. "Nope. I`ve already called the spot of temporary leader. Anyways,you`re too young." Kritika kept a blank expression on his face. "So. Lets introduce ourselves. Tell me your name,goals,dreams,what you like,and what you dislike."

"My name is Kritika Hyuūga. Goals? I don`t have any. Dreams? I`m not gonna say. I have lots of things I like,and lots of things I dislike. Ok." Kritika pointed at the Senju. "You,tell me everything about you." Kritika wasn't really interested in giving away all his information to people he doesn`t fully know yet.

Kritika decided to sit down, crisscross applesauce style. He could tell this squad was gonna be one of the best. The chances were slim,but Kritika thought it would be great if their squad leader was another ninja from a famous clan,preferably the Uzumaki,but he didn`t really care.

"Well...ok. My name is Minoki Senju. My goal is to be the strongest ninja in Konoha. I also want to become Hokage! I like training and spending time with my mother. I don`t dislike many things,but I don`t like war and hate." Minoki looked at the boy to the right of her. "Hello,um...I think it is your turn." Minoki was still nervous about actually getting a squad. She was also excited. She couldn`t let mixed feelings interfere. Just like the Genin exams,ignore them.

Just then,she realized something. Senju,Uchiha,and Hyuuga all in one squad. Great! She thought in a non sarcastic way. The three most powerful clans in Konoha. That means that the three genin could do great things,even make a mark in history! Though they probably already realized,Minoki decided to tell her teammates about this. "Hey! I just wanted to say,our squad is made up of members of the three strongest clans in Konoha! Meaning that we have nothing to fear! As long as we have teamwork,we can do anything! Well,um...that was all I wanted to say,carry on."

Annoyance flared itself in the young Genin's mind, and it took a great deal of effort to keep the emotion from being present on his face. Once he stifled the emotion, he thought to himself. It was ridiculous for someone to think they could "call" the leadership of a Shinobi team. The very thought sounded juvenile. The two were at an impasse, and the Uchiha's imagination flared with possibilities to settle this. They could have a fight over it. But that would cause issues with teamwork and squad chemistry in the future. They could ask for an assigned leader from the Hokage... But it would make a better impression on the village officials to decide this internally. This left one option...

Jigoku finished listening to Minoki speak, and when she stopped talking l, Jigoku did, but not to answer Kritika's questions. "Kritika, if you were fit to be leader, you would be aware of some things. The first is that you cannot 'call' the leadership of a Shinobi squad, and if you could, I seem to recall me voicing my wishes to be leader before you did. The second is you cannot just deem yourself leader because others have to follow you willingly. And the third is if you remember, in our spar, even though I was called to the Hokage Mansion, I completely dominated you. You were running all over the place and rolling. If I remember, you spent much more energy and spent much more time on the ground than I did."

Jigoku turned his head to Minoki. "This would leave you, Minoki, to he the deciding factor. Who would you prefer to lead the team until we are assigned a Jounin?" He hoped that Minoki would choose him, as he had no intention to follow Kritika's lead. He was no hypocrite, so he would follow, but he would be very unhappy about it. He remained quiet in anticipation of Kritika's answer.

Minoki watched Jigoku run his mouth. After he finished speaking,Minoki was faced with the hard decision of choosing who would be their temporary team leader until they had an actual jonin as their leader. She really didn`t know much about the two to actually decide between them. Minoki took some time to think. After a minute or two,she came up with a fair answer for them all.

"Well...um...maybe we should just wait for an actual jonin squad leader. For now,we don`t have to have a temporary leader. And,I don`t think we should fight,it..um...decreases teamwork and chemistry,which is bad for the squad,and ruins the whole purpose of this team. So..yeah,that`s all I had to say." Minoki still had mixed feelings in her stomach,still not believing she was in an actual ninja squad. She was nervous and scared about how the two would react,so she kept sitting and waited for their responses.

Kritika stared at Minoki,confused. First of all,Kritika was annoyed with Jigoku. Second,he really wanted to be the temporary leader,but he did think Minoki`s idea was fair. He didn`t know what Jigoku would think,but he didn`t really care. "Well,I think Minoki`s idea is fair. We`ll just wait. I guess we should spar for a bit before our Jonin comes. Think fast,or else death will appear right in your eyes." Kritika got into the Hyuūga clan stance and charged at Jigoku.

Not only did he want to test both of their strength,but he also wanted to settle the unfinished match that him and Jigoku had started. He also wanted to test Minoki`s strength. He was interested in seeing what the legendary Senju clan could really do. He was very well aware that Jigoku would probably counter or dodge,so Kritika charged lightning into his hands. If he were sent flying or on the ground,he could easily shoot out a lightning beast to attack.

Gonna 48-hour Minoki, since its been like... 4ever. So my post

An obvious expression of annoyance spread across the face of Jigoku. As if signaled by Kritika's charge, Jigoku used a technique he knew and loved; Body Flicker. Suddenly, Jigoku was nowhere near Kritika, but rather standing in front of Minoki.

"Hey, Minoki, you're Senju right? Mind if I get a sample of your blood?"

Not waiting for an answer, Jigoku withdrew a Kunai from his pouch and held it to her arm. Unless she or Kritika would interrupt him, Jigoku made a small cut, not dangerously deep, but deep enough that she would bleed a considerable amount. He then withdrew a collapsible survival cup from his ninja pouch and held it to the wound. He awaited the cup to fill about halfway with blood - enough for two blood transplants - and pulled the cup away. He covered it with a piece of cloth and walked away, back his home at the village. Unless, of course, he was interrupted.
