Hayden had decided that if he was going to be stuck in Konohagakure he might was well squeeze in some training. He and Tenno had had a long debate on the subject before coming to terms on a plan.

"It'll be simple. train your body to fight as you do with a sword and i shall follow. Remember i react to your body. If you become stronger then i too become stronger." Tenno explained as Hayden sat eating some instant ramen. "alright, I'll head to the academy and grab some leg and arm weights. We'll train the rest of the week and see where that get's us." Hayden said as he finished slurping up his noodles.

He procured his training equipment from one of the academy teacher's, being sure to thank him for his generosity before making his way out into the training grounds.

For his first day Hayden focused on Cardio; he would be no good if he was not fast enough to catch his opponent. The leg weights each weighed fifty pounds and the armbands weighed thirty. These were apparently the heaviest they allowed Academy students to check out and usually the starting weight. He would wear then throughout the week, every hour of every day.

He ran lamps around a track for a couple of hours before collapsing on the grassy infield. "I just...thought.. of something Tenno... I cannot sweat trough you.. what happens when you cover me completely? Hayden asked as he recovered for a moment. "i'm sure you will remain cool somehow, perhaps i radiate heat away? I'm sure my creator had some idea of what would happen, but then again it was his ideas that killed him.." Tenno said, his silent laughter echoing in my head. "That's cold Tenno" Hayden said, getting up to do some more laps.

It would be earlier the next day when Hayden rose from his Soft bed to begin another day of grueling training. He started the morning off with a few more lamps before moving on to technique training. He found a sparring partner amongst the other Leaf genin and squared off. As far as any of them were concerned he was another genin looking to get in some training. They knew nothing beyond their own eyes.

They practiced drills with hand movements, strikes and blocks. They rounded out the routine with kicks and jabs. They practiced in this manor for several hours before finally getting to the actual spar. Had it not been for Tenno the young genin would have one. However, Tenno absorbed nearly all the punishment the genin was throwing at Hayden. "You need to train, not be ripped apart. the young man was actually trying to hurt you. remember where he struck you. those are pressure points that would usually induce crippling pain if struck." Tenno educated Hayden later as they got ready for bed.

His third day consisted of kicking and striking trees until they fell. This was a technique employed by Rock Lee, a famous Taijutsu specialist. And so Hayden spent most of his day kicking the crap out of a tree and the rest of the night picking splinters out of his leg. "I assume this is highly amusing to you?" Hayden said pulling out yet another splinter from his leg. The weights had left bruises from where he had used them to save his skin the impact. The only reply from Tenno was a hint of laughter here and there.

The fourth day was the worst of the week as Hayden had Bruises up and down his legs and his left fist was bleeding from splits. Yet, he continued on fighting through the pain. This in the end was what Taijutsu was about. fighting on through pain and suffering to become something more then yourself. In the end, Hayden learned that as he reflected on the past four days that night. He was rubbing some salve on his legs and thinking of how much pain he had been in. He realized that if he could take all of that... he could take more.

He began training with dummies that day. The dummies rotated around him in a circle and he was meant to strike them. This was to teach power, precision and speed. The dummies recorded stats like how hard they were hit and how often. Hayden's goal was to beat at the very least half the other scores. Yet, he failed. Not once or twice, but consistently. His entire week of training and he couldn't even beat another genin, much less another ninja of greater rank. Fed up with training for the day he turned to leave and head back to his apartment. "What's the matter, Can't beat us?" a group of chunin were standing by the door. their obvious leader was standing right out in the open a smirk plastered on his face. "Well it's to be expected i guess, after all you are a freak... a monster how could you be as powerful as one of us? we are all just waiting for the day the hokage send one of us to end your wretched life.... What followed could have been any number of swears or curses. instead the young chunin was being held against the wall by hayden's left hand, his right he fed chakara into transforming it into a clawed hand. He stabbed the claws to the left of the boys face, sinking them several inches into the wood. Ripping them out he threw the chuunin to the ground and walked away. "The day you are worth my time... i suggest you watch your back."

He spent his last day in training thinking over everything he had done the last few days. He had ran, fought, bled, and been in more pain then at any other point in his life. He felt stronger, not just in body but in soul as well. he felt like he could take on just about anything even though he was a few seconds from falling over. His body had reached and surpassed it's limits and in that fact he found solace. If he could break one limits that meant there were no limits. He could become only as strong as he forced himself to be. No one would hand him strength, only help push him along the path that he needed to take.

"Where do we go from here?" Tenno asked, wondering about their training. "This is as far as we can go by ourselves. We need somebody to guide us, to bring us closer to perfection.
