Raiding ninja

It was several days after his harrowing experience with the haunted house that he attempted to take on another mission. He decided to pick something safe and within the bounds of konoha. It seemed a group of ninja in training were stealing equipment from the academy. All Hayden needed to do was find out the names of the kids and the teachers would do the rest. It reminded Hayden how he stole kunai to assassinate a target for Kaseki... that was different though.. he had given them back, clean too.

Now Hayden was staked out near the Academy. The last of the staff had headed out for the night and everything was quiet. Several long moments passed before a rustling caught his attention. A group of three ninja's wearing masks stumbled out from a bush and crept up on the school. "smart little buggers wearing masks, have to get close, see if they will use there names."

He jumped gracefully to the ground and sprinted across the open ground to the window they had used to get in. "must have unlocked it while they were in class." Hayden said as he slid into the room. Stealth was not entirely important, but he wanted to perpetuate the myth that older ninja were masters of shadow. quietly Hayden walked through the halls, listening.

Dammit sanji, be quite.." He heard a young mouth say. "SHUT UP, Kuri" Another said.

Hayden couldn't believe these kids would use there names while stealing from the academy.. he looked at the list and both were part of a squad. it was safe to assume the other was part of the same squad. He circled the names with a pen and snuck out the same way leaving behind a piece of paper. On it was a short message. "Return the items you took."

Hayden returened the next day just as roll call was being taken. He stood in the front of the class and when a particular squad, "Sanji, Kuri, lee?" Was asked, they raised there hands reluctantly. Hayden slipped the teacher a note and looked at the three ninja with cold eyes. It was all part of the process really.. scare them into not attempting this again. He still wondered what on earth they would want to steal from the academy though.

"Seal scroll, kunai, technique tomes... any such things would be a fine prize for academy students." Tenno said as they walked out of the academy.

"I suppose you are right, but still... seems like they weren't after this stuff to brag." Hayden mused as they headed towards the main plaza and more importantly the food shops.

"Spending our hard earned money on pointless food again?" Tenno asked him. Hayden didn't reply but instead walked into the raman house and took a seat.

Meanwhile back at the academy the three trouble makers were having a rough time of it. Their punishment had been to clean all the training equipment and then they were to do hard training for the next few days to focus their minds on what was really important.

"If we ever find that guy... we need to kick his ass... one of them said, to which the others agreed.
