Konoha Genin

General Info
Name: Jigoku Uchiha II
Nicknames: N/A
Gender: Male
Age: 11
Clan: Uchiha
Village: Konohagakure
Rank:  Genin

Looks:
Height: 5'1"
Weight: 142 lb.
Description: Jigoku has jet black hair that grows in an unruly manner to about his shoulders, completely unregulated and usually uncombed, though it looks presentable anyhow.  He has high cheekbones, and on account of his age, a narrow jaw.  He was born with no hair on his brow, and just beneath him he has slightly sunken eyes, which, strangely, can be any color between the same black color as his hair or sky blue, though he and his doctors are unsure what exactly causes it.  He has a long, slightly pointy nose with a slightly low bridge, set in a manner that makes his face look quite smooth, and though it'd look bad on most people, looks quite nice on him.  He has normal-looking ears, though place just ever so slightly lower than usual.  In general, he looks very boyish, but many girls his age would find him quite "cute."

He is about five feet tall and weighs 142 pounds.  He is awkardly built slightly short and very muscular, though his mom says he'll "shoot right on up" soon.  Though he isn't bulky, very distinct cuts can be seen in his form, shaping his muscles.  He has a broad ches and shoulders for his age, and though it's coming in, doesn't quite have a six-pack on his abdomen.  His arms are quite thin because of his age, though muscles can still be seen embedded beneath the skin.  He tends to wear very casual clothing, just plain tee-shirts and jeans or cargo pants.  He also often wears a bandana, one of a multitude of styles and colors he owns in addition to a, usually black, windbreaker and white or black sneakers, or ninja sandals in some cases.

Personality:
Nindo: "Only you can make choices for yourself."
Personality Description:   You can't really distinguish Jigoku from other boys his age.  He always seems to be so happy-go-lucky, never crying, unhappy, or angry in day-to-day life.  He is normally quite joyous and jolly, waiting for the next moment to come and find what experiences it shall bring.  He spends his time hanging out with his friends and never really has problems with anyone;  that one guy in the whole school that can just have a good time with anyone he meets and never really run into any complications.

He tends to enjoy getting out of the village and exploring, learning what he can about the surrounding landscape and its nature.  He is prone to disappearing into the wild for weeks at a time and emerging better nourished than even the kids with wealthy and over-protective families.  Nature is his mother's breast, his never-ending bank of nutrients, and every time he goes off into nature he tends to find a new adventure;  be it a new cave, new type of animal or plant, or even some sort of anomaly.

He can find himself in fits of rage when someone he loves is hurt by another out of ill-will however.  It is quite a sight.  Never do most people see an 11-year old with so much pent up anger that he can forget himself.  His only mission is to taste the blood of he who harmed his loved ones.  He has only struck this state once, but he had to be tranquilized and spent two weeks in the hospital.  It's not simply anger that struck him; some of the medics believed it was a chemical unbalance in his brain, caused by a large amount of anger that distracted his brain from balancing itself correctly.  The more often this happens, the more unhinged Jigoku can become.
Favorites: Ice-Cream, hide and seek, training, and socializing.

Background:
History: Jigoku was born to a socially and militarily dominant family, two members of the Uchiha clan being his parents.  His mother was named Mei, and he was named after his father, Jigoku.  His father came from a military dominant family.  He was an elite Jounin and ran a corps of Shinobi who only handled A and S-Rank missions.  He was was a weapon for the village and his power could not be denied.  He was known in most nations, and Genin and Chuunin were instructed to run in any situation that they'd encountered him in battle.  He was a dangerous man.  And he was cold.  He went cold after losing his sister and gaining his Mangekyou Sharingan.

Ji's mother, Mei, came from a socially and politically dominant family.  She had family who were in office with the fuedal lord himself.  She had plenty of money and never had a problem making friends.  People saw her as Mrs.  Perfect because she never had an issue.  The truth was that she rejected this money and refused to let her family pay for anything.  She was Uchiha-born, though not a Shinobi.  Mei's sister would soon marry the son of the fuedal lord himself.  The goal of her parents was to secure the power of war with Mei's marriage and the power of money and politics with her sister's marriage; both of which were arranged.

Ji could tell these marriages were arranged, specifically his parents.  They often stayed at opposite spectrums of the house.  Little did they show any affection toward each other, and very little did they ever thank each other, or even argue.  One could hardly tell the difference between their marriage and a business partnership.  The only reason Ji even thought they'd ever been intimate with each other is because he existed.  This was an impact on his life.  He grew up without ever having "family" time with his parents.  He spent plenty of time with them separately, but rarely together.  Because of this, Ji really had no clue how to act with family.  He had no real sense of family.  They rarely even celebrated holidays together.

Though he at first hated his forced training, Ji learned to love it over time, when he finally mastered his Katon:  Great Fireball Technique.  He began to spar as well, another great love of his.  He entered the academy at seven years old, and he loved it.  He quickly grasped all three of the basic jutsu types;  Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, and Taijutsu.  He also did well with Bukijutsu, though he didn't enjoy it much due to the fact that he wouldn't always have a weapon with him.  Weapons were limited, but unless his arms were cut off, he would never run out of the supply of his fists.

Training was Ji's way to connect with his father.  As busy as he was in political affiars, Jigoku Senior only had time for training, missions, and politics, and training was actually one of the few things Ji could find in common with his father;  they both liked to train.  It was during these training sesseions that Jigoku gained the nickname "Ji" to differentiate he and his father.    In one training session, Ji's father was so out of breath that he could only get the first syllable of his name out.  At that point, it begun to stick because of his expressed liking for the name.

Ji's father, however, did very little in terms of rewarding or congratulating Ji.  He rarely got a "good job" or a "that's my boy." In fact, Ji only remembered it happening on two accounts.  The first was when he first mastered the Katon: Great Fireball Technique, and the second would only happen later, when he graduated the Academy.  His father was distant, and often talking of his hate for the Senju.  Ji hated when he talked like this, though he would be punished and reprimanded when he expressed this.  Because of this, he learned to keep his mouth shut on his opinion, and probably is why he succeeded so well at making friends.

At age 9, Ji's mother was arrested on a mission by Kirigakure's forces, under the accusation that she had murdered one of their Seven Ninja Swordsman.  During this time, Ji's father seemed completely undeterred, though Ji was devestated.  This was when he had his chemical rage fit.  The medics called it an imbalance of chemicals in his brain due to the brain focusing so much on his anger that he couldn't balance the chemicals.  His father was warned that each time that happened to Ji he would begin to lose his sanity.  He dropped out of the academy and didn't look back for about a year.  He still trained at home, but in complete solitude.

Mei was Ji's only motivation.  Because of the little amount of pats on the back he'd recieved from his father, Ji often had the urge to come home from training and show his mother whatever new skill he had learned that day.  Even the small things he'd learned, or the things he was still quite bad at, he recieved praise from.  He knew she did it only to support him, but perhaps that was why he was so appreciative of it... he knew she was the one who would be there to support him when no one else would.  So when she was gone... no more motivation, and the only reason Ji continued to train was because of his father's orders.  If he didn't show him a new skill once a week, his father would take him back under his wing for training.  This became Ji's motivation.

His mother was released from prison when he was age 10, and Ji began his metamorphosis back to who he was before. He spent more time with her than ever, though his father divorced her because he didn't want her bad reputation to "stain" his family. Disregarding his father's orders, Ji began to go to see his mother who would now live at her parents' house every day. These times were that one time of day that everyone has that they look forward to. That one time that he keeps checking the clock for. The time he spent with her was usually full of stories, both happy and sad, of Ji's time without her and of her time in Kirigakure as a prisoner.

Ji began training with his father more often. He progressed better that way, and now thought it was worth it because he could go back to his old tradition of learning a new skill each day and then going to show his mother. And, as always, she was always full of praise. Ji began to get softer and softer... never did he become so happy and carefree as he was before her imprisonment, but he became normal. He went out to play with the other kids, he stopped acting out, he would spare with other young Uchiha. He felt almost as if nothing ever happened. It was just how life was supposed to be. He had an asshole father and an angel mother, the latter being the only one he wanted to spend time with, though he inevitably had to spend more time with his father.

After being back for almost two months, Ji's mother began pushing him to go back to the Shinobi Academy. It took her almost another month to succeed, and when she did, Ji was behind in everything. He was determined to graduate with his class, so he spend day and night at the Academy or at home training. He even had to spend a good portion of his time in the library. For a year and a half he did this. He found himself more skilled than most of the people in his class because of this, though he was still the lowest on the roster in terms of the rankings of Genin. So low in fact, that three weeks before he turned 12, when he graduated as a Genin, he was not placed on a squad. He was expected to figure it out himself.
Key Events: Mother goes to prison, gets released, and Jigoku graduates the academy.

You have 1075 words for background... Uchihas require extreme quality but since you're taking genin rank, I'lld say 1,300 words is ok with me..
