Character updates are basically the way that we keep track of all of the things we have. This can vary from Ryo, to items, equipment, even our jutsu. They're quick reference and can be used to speedily determine what you or another character legally have. It's where you post your stats as well. This will also be what we check when deciding if you're ready for a rank up or not. Also, anything not edited onto your card before you go into a thread doesnt exist on your character.
