It's been five generations after the first war between Samurai and Shinobi. The five villages were founded shortly after and there has never been a war between them. Until now, all five villages have been off limits to the outside world, however the gates have been opened and ninja were allowed to travel between. Shark-Skin Weapo10
Weapon Name: Samehada~ sharkskin
Weapon Type: Sword of the mist
Weapon Rank: S
Ability: Samehada has an ability of eating chakra from an opponent or a jutsu.(It slices through B rank jutsu and below and it absorbs 50 percent of the chakra used for the jutsu).
Spoiler:
As the blade is made up of scales, it inflicts injuries through shredding or shaving what it comes into contact with, rather than just cutting the object in question. This flaying effect is similar to a shark's skin, hence the sword's name. While it ordinarily remains rigid, Samehada's hilt is able to stretch and bend to great extent(5m), allowing the weapon to be used like a flail.

Samehada shares a symbiotic relationship with its wielder, similar to that of the kikaichū. Although it continually consumes the chakra of its owner,(it consumes 10 chakra each post it's used) its largest meals come from fights, wherein it absorbs the chakra of the opposition instead.(Upon contact with an opponent, 50 chakra is absorbed) Such an ability allows Samehada to literally slice through an opponent's techniques, in spite of whether the chakra has been transformed or not, and even prevent them from being performed by absorbing all of the necessary chakra, before preparations can be completed. This is particularly useful when fighting jinchūriki, as Samehada can quickly deplete their large chakra supplies as well as remove their chakra cloaks. However, it seems to be unable to automatically absorb ambient chakra, as in all instances where it has absorbed chakra are when either the opponent had a visible aura around them or when direct physical contact had already been established.

Due to its voracious appetite, Samehada is drawn to those with large chakra supplies, allowing it to be used as a quasi-sensor(it can sense chakra within a 200 metre radius and the max chakra it can save up is 100cp before re-used. Chakra gotten from the user can't be saved up).

While the ability to absorb chakra is useful in defeating opponents, it is also beneficial to the user as well. Samehada has the ability to transfer the chakra it has absorbed to the wielder by fully fusing with them(1000words to learn fusing), so it can be used to either revitalise the wielders chakra and stamina or instantly heal even fatal injuries.(Only 50% of the total chakra absored by samehada can be given to the user and 50% chakra is lost) or the samehada can partially fuse with the wielder though this fusion is not visible. It's chakra gateway is chained with the users'(20% chakra can be gained but no injuries can be healed and 80% chakra is lost).
This makes the user of this sword extremely difficult to defeat conventionally but still, while wielding samehada, the wielder's speed is reduced half a tier.

Fusing with samehada causes the wielder to become much more shark-like in appearance, growing fins, breath through gills on the neck and webbed hands that allow them to move through water with considerable ease. (In water, his speed is boosted to a tier in taijutsu and water techniques used in this form receive 30% chakra reduction and 20cp is required to transform. During this stage, C-rank upkeep is needed).
The wielder also receives some of Samehada's abilities while in this form, such as being able to extend spikes from their body for offence,(spikes go as far as three feet) and absorbing chakra when others come into direct contact with them, as well as the ability to track chakra and the wielder can also hide within samehada and can't be detected by at least adept sensors. It cannot pinpoint a location but it can give a direction neither can it sense when a person is under genjutsu(This can only be achieved if the wielder has fully trained fusing with samehada)
Spoiler:
Ability Rank: S
Weapon Description:
Though mostly wrapped in bandages, Samehada's construction is a typical in that its actual blade is comprised from a series of downward facing scales running along the entirety of its length until its hilt, at the base of which is a small skull.
Spoiler:

Spoiler:
Samehada grows larger in proportion to the amount of chakra it absorbs,(10chakra causes a decimetre increase in size. It's original size is 30cm wide and 100cm long. It can grow beyond 70cm wide)causing its scales to become so long that they ultimately resemble shark fins and its mouth, located at the tip of the blade, to become even more pronounced. Keeping Samehada wrapped in bandages apparently helps to inhibit this growth to a certain extent. It has a mouth with teeth and a longue tongue.

Samehada is unique for being a sentient weapon that gains nourishment from the chakra of others and as such, the blade is at its happiest when engorged with chakra that possesses both a distinctive and pleasant flavour. Being capable of conscious thought, Samehada chooses its own user, an exclusive process that has often resulted in it being thought of as notoriously picky.(500words to learn to wield samehada)
Spoiler:

If someone it disapproves of attempts to wield it, spikes protrude from the handle in order to force them to release their grasp, at which point Samehada will make efforts to return to its chosen owner as it can move on it's own.

Need a limit to the extension of the hilt.

Change the chakra consumption to a certain amount per post when wielding.

It's a SSM Sword, have it consume a bit more chakra from opponents if you like.

Specify how much the chakra makes it grow and what the maximum size is.

Require 500 words of training to wield it because it's so "picky."

Require 1000 words to partially fuse with Samehada.

Require 1000 words to fully fuse.

Specify abilities during each of these fusion forms and that it can only share chakra when fused. 25% for initial fusion and 50% for complete fusion.

Hmmm...

Reduce the amount it grows a bit. Maybe a decimeter every 10 chakra. (decimeter = 1/10 meter). Specify starting size and maximum size.

Also clean up the post a bit. Get rid of the canon references as they are not needed and make it hard to follow information.

Specify a range for the chakra tracking ability.

It also needs a chakra absorption cap to make sure its not holding too much chakra. Seeing as its a living being, there should be a limit to its chakra pool. Also, Samehada is seen as slow in the anime and needs some sort of speed drawback. Maybe half a tier of buki speed reduced as the Executioner would as well. Half a tier would make it where swordsmen with lighter swords on your level have a clear sense of speed.

Ok one more thing, add these in an it's approved: It absorbs 15 chakra per past when partially fused and 20 when fully fused. And chakra it absorbs from you is not added to its pool of 300.

Hm. I don't know what Roku is talking about by "past" but if the Chakra Pool of the sword is 300 then you won't be able to absorb 50% seeing as how that's up to an instant 150 Chakra. This means the weilder has infinite chakra. If you're going to absorb half of what it has, the pool can be no greater than 100. Also, you need a cooldown on how often you can use it to transform. It should also require chakra to transform. Also, since the Samehada is known to use enough energy to devour chakra, the chakra it drains from you should not go into its own Chakra Pool.

As for the transformation, all transformations require upkeep, so you'll need a chakra amount on that. And for the reduction of Water techs, bump that up to 30%. As for the spikes extending 3 meters from your body, thats way too long. 3 meters is roughly 10 feet. The most I could understand would be 2-3 feet. Also, extending spikes will also cost chakra, as doing that infinitely would make you immune.
Also, speeds of Taijutsu Specialist in water is a no. You can't just automatically bump it up to a certain level. Given that Samehada already gives six benefits to the user, we're not allowing the possesser to become Godly in every situation. A one tier increase in water while partially tranformed would make more sense.

There's nothing else I see wrong atm

Ok, much easier to follow now, thanks. We're almost done, I promise lol.

- Hiding in Samehada doesn't erase your chakra signature, it's just that if someone has been wielding Samehada long enough, their chakra signature becomes very similar to Samehada's, in which case if you hide inside it, it's hard to detect that there is another chakra signature there. Also, since it requires such a close relationship, it should only be able to be done if the user has fully trained with Samehada.

- Regarding chakra transfer, word it something a little like this for clarity. "When partially fused with Samehada, the user can transfer chakra to Samehada to himself, however 80% of chakra is lost in the process. When a user fully fuses with Samehada, only 50% is lost in the process." The other way of wording it sounded like if Samehada had 100 chakra and you were fully fused, you could absorb 50% of the chakra, leaving 50 still with Samehada. In which case, you could absorb 50% of that and... So on. Also, specify that the chakra Samehada absorbs from the user doesn't go to its chakra pool.

- Regarding slicing through jutsu, specify a rank limit to that. I think B would be fair. Also that, when it does this, it absorbs 50% of the chakra used for the jutsu. Can't have you easily demolishing S-Rank techniques.

- Regarding sensing and such. There need to be limits to that, such as not being allowed to determine if someone is under Genjutsu and not being able to tell someone's exact location, rather the general direction. Location could get more specific when fused.

- Need a maximum size.

That MIGHT be it. I'll post if I see anything else.

Didn't add the rank limit of techs to be absorbed, nor the ability to absorb 50% of chakra the opponents used when slicing through techniques. Bit that's the only other thing i see so when done, I'll approve it.
