Zanji uzumaki awoke the next day from his first round of training nearing the crack of dawn. he yawned and stretched his arms and legs in his bed and bent over and scratched his butt sleepily as he  shuffled towards his bathroom. Hi body felt so much stronger after yesterdays vigorous training session so much so he could already tell a small difference. he was faster now than he was. This pleased him immensely as he went and showered off and soon emerged from his bathroom draped around his waist was a towel. Today was going to be a even greater day for his training today he was going to learn a new jutsu and improve his sealing abilities as well as his weapons. He quickly clothed himself in his usual attire and grabbed his bag he had from yesterday and put in him snacks as well as a fresh new canteen of water.

He cracked his neck to the side and sprinted out of his home at top speed and soon found himself at the training ground much faster than he had anticipated. The sun was already  just creeping over the horizon. The air was chilly as he exhaled sharply watching his breath form into condensation into the air. He tossed aside his bag to the ground and looked around his current surroundings. He took in a deep breath enjoying the fresh air around him as he closed his eyes for a few moments taking in the wonderful scents around him. He loved the smell of fresh dew in the morning especially around a forest like area.  He cleared his throat and  reopened his eyes and smirked.Today was going to be a productive day he could feel it in his bones. He slowly walked over to his bag and pulled out a scroll and smiled excitedly. Like a child awaiting a wrapped birthday present he stared greedily at the scroll and unrolled it.

He was so excited about learning a new jutsu he could hardly contain his joy. He unrolled the scroll  and slowly read the instructions slowly. Taking in every word and detail. he did not want to screw this up after all if he did it could be disastrous for him. He had already signed the snake contract all he needed was the summoning jutsu and then the contract would be fully complete. Oh how wonderful and useful those snake summons would be in battle especially  the leader. One of the largest powerful snakes to ever roam the shinobi world manda II. he had only caught a glimpse of him on his trip to ryuuchi cave where he received the scroll and he was in awe of the giant snakes might. He smiled as he memorized all the hand seals inside his mind.

Each time he memorized them he would start out in slow motion and gradually increase the speed of the handseals in is mind. He could hardly wait to try this jutsu out. Though he was not stupid  he would not waist and precious chakra since he had not bought the right to use the summons. Damn greedy snakes always want something in return for there services. But it mattered little to him. He quickly practiced the hand seals over and over again and smiled as he finally memorized and mastered the jutsu. It was a good start for training learning a new jutsu but his thirst for power was not yet sated he needed more.

An air of fear seemed to be sensed about the Kaguya by even the insects that creeped in the grass beneath his feet.  The very Earth seemed to tremble in helplessness as it was cursed by the presence of Roku Kaguya; Honeshin, The Bone God.  His movements seemed to carry with such precision that he somehow managed to "dance" as he walked, in a seemingly graceful way.  The dance of the Kaguya, as strong as it was beautiful.  The dance invented by the ancestors of Roku. The dance taught to any Kaguya whom was raised by those of his same clan.  The dance of combat, of bloodshed.  The Dance of The Bloody Red Rose as Roku called it.  If it portrayed such beauty, such charisma... How was it that it somehow led to the death of so many, at the hands of a single man? Of Roku?

How was it that the law of Shinobi was so absolute? The law of deception? That a dance even as beautiful as Roku's could be molded out of the pure malicious cravings that caressed the Kaguya of old? That this same dance was the death of hundreds... Of thousands on the battlefield? And yet... Yet, even the deaths were beautiful.  Something that could be seen in a theatrical performance as pure dramatic artistry? Perhaps it was not the pure malice of a single clan, but malice induced by the world. Perhaps the Kaguya of Old merely embraced it... Loved, it... Thrived on the natural human instincts written deeply within their genes, set in stone to never change.

But there were efforts to change.  Roku knew the history of his clan better than anyone. It was a history full of decisions that he could never decide for himself whether he agreed with them or not.  The Kaguya, driven into hiding, lost in the passing of time had managed to control their cravings of blood and danger.  They had essentially become monks, living lives of discipline, away from combat.  The Dance of The Kaguya had become something different. It had lost its killing intent and had become what one could call an art form.  It was never to be used for actual combat and members instead looked upon it as a medium through which to instill discipline into others of the clan. Those such as Roku who had come to Master this practice were referred to as leaders and legends.

And for the most part, Roku agreed with these teachings.  It was important for any person to learn to control their cravings, especially if those cravings involved deaths.  But Roku was the first Kaguya for 200 years to become a Shinobi... To abandon his clansmen and set out for a life of heroism in the village of Kumogakure. And he used the Dance of The Bloody Rose on the battlefield extensively.  The first person he'd had to kill plagued his dreams for years... Insisted on drilling itself into his memory, branding itself on his mind. And then came the second. And it was easier. He took hundreds of missions and have to kill hundreds of living people, and by the time he had left Kumogakure, he wasn't sure about his morals anymore.  Whether he agreed with the suppression of his bloodlust.  Because when he let it loose, when he killed on the battlefield... He felt empowered. Dangerous and like he was simply doing what he was meant to do.

And then... Then, he'd have to sleep that night. He'd have to reflect on his actions of the day he'd have to tell himself he had to end the lives he did that day.  He'd tell himself it was necessary. He'd force himself to believe in his own words, not allowing himself to tremble at the thought of the evil deeds he'd done.  Even now, as he walked, he was unsure of his thoughts. They felt scattered, meaningless, and empty. As if they were the ramblings of a madman crafted to consume his mind in doubt. Doubt of his character and of his mission. As if they were crafted to cast his mind into shadows, to place him in a danger zone impossible to escape.

Flashbacks of the innocent man he'd killed shadowed his mind. Flashbacks of having justified the man's death by telling himself that the accusations made by a woman he did not know were true. And the most terrifying thought of everything that had just entered his mind was that it wasn't terrifying.  It just felt like it was supposed to happen, a basic problem undergone by everyone.  It felt natural.  And he was comfortable with the thought that he was losing track of his morals, as if he somehow didn't mind that the person he once was was no longer there.

But he has to clear his mind. Roku was a Kaguya taught to control his bloodlust, such an art requiring the utmost self-control; the experience of which allowed him to evacuate his mind of all plaguing thoughts and to remain completely calm.  His mind went blank. He allowed it to stay blank for several moments as his feet tapped against the ground, beating steadily, marking the path of the Bone God. His pulse slowed, below average, as his mind lost the majority of its activity.

And then he allowed it to resume its functionality once more, though no more dangerous, self-doubting thoughts managed to snake their way into his mind. Instead, he was focused fully on the day's mission, which was, simply put, to learn to wield weapons.  He was a man whose entire body was made of the most powerful weapons in the world, and yet, he was never trained in their art.  He was unsure of nearly everything that had to do with such a thing, though he had a basic foundation of Taijutsu to build upon.

It was only now that Roku became aware of himself.  Only now that he became conscious of his attire, of his appearance... Even of his actions.  He wore a basic white kimono that opened widely at his chest to show a black t-shirt. Around his waist was tied a black cloth belt, causing Roku to resemble a Martial Arts Master; though such a term wasn't inaccurate. His white hair flowing around his head, caressing and outlining his face.  He wore a pair of hard rubber black sandals that opened at the toes ad the heel as was basic attire for any Shinobi. His Kimono could be removed with ease to reveal an all-black attire beneath, consisting of cloth black pants that were just barely shorter than average so that they weren't revealed beneath his kimono and the black t-shirt mentioned previously.

Even though he wore no headband or symbol of affiliation at all, Roku was posing as a member of Konohagakure's Shinobi forces.  He had become well-versed in the politics, current events, and local legend of the village enough that the only person who would know truly whether Roku belonged to the village was the Hokage himself; the only person who knew the identities of all those in his village. He was unknown to anyone to be a missing nin, nor was he known to have any affiliation with the Akatsuki. His identity was flawless, and there was no way that anyone who could read minds would know the truth of his origins.

He walked along an old, beaten dirt path, en route to one of the basic training grounds used by Konohagakure Ninja. The path seemed to be fresh, as if it had never come into heavy use until recently. The trees loomed overhead, casting shadows on the form of the Kaguya, though light was not an issue as it was still bright enough to see clearly, even without the use of the Byakugan in Roku's left eye, which formerly belonged to the Hokage, though it was nit activated and could not be recognized as a Byakugan; though his eyes did look a bit strange as the left was white and the right was black.  Dew rested on the patches of grass not yet worn down by pedestrians and, in the odd lighting, made it seem as if each individual blade cast its own rainbow, fading into oblivion within a few inches of its origin.

The man carried a sword of bone in his left hand which had been removed from his right arm, though that had occurred much earlier and had long since regenerated the bone in his arm. He swung it as he walked, accustoming himself to the balance of its weight and force.  As the sword swung past his face, he could take in its details. It was deathly white and the handle was about 12 inches long. Connecting the handle to the blade was a now rigid, immobile joint that used to be his elbow.  The rest of the sword was formed by the bone of Roku's forearm, becoming progressively thinner as it neared the tip, though widening a bit about 7 inches from its tip before coming to a point, representing where the hand was wider than the wrist, which, too, was now rendered immobile.

As other paths converged onto the path walked by Roku, he passed a few citizens of Konohagakure and the path became progressively brighter and neater. The patches of grass became more scarce and the trees grew straighter, allowing for a wider opening overhead to let the early morning sunlight through. He took a right and knew he was nearing the training field as he saw the lone Shuriken embedded into the trunk of a tree here or there, probably misused during training.  There were also various trees scorched with fire, a representation of the high amount of Fire Release users in Konohagakure.

It was not long before Roku emerged into a wide open area.  It was a smaller training ground, as was his preference. He was not fond of fields occupied by others, though the occasional Shinobi here or there did not bother him.  There was a lone figure in the middle of the field practicing hand seals over a scroll, though Roku did not pay him much attention.  However, avoiding the impulse to ignore him entirely the Kaguya spoke.  His words seemed to come calm and precise, as if he selected each word individually from his vast array of knowledge. "Ah... I did not realize someone else was here... Come to work on a particular skill have you? Don't mind me, I'll keep to myself."

Roku expected the man to continue their conversation. He just had that sort of read on people.  The rare ability to judge someone's character based solely on their demeanor. However, Roku kept true to his word.  He walked slowly to the opposite end of the training field.  He faced away from the other Shinobi, though he was still within auditory range and could carry a conversation.

It was, however, time for Roku to focus on his day's training. He performed a basic E-Rank Technique known as Clone Jutsu, forming an exact replica of his own figure standing across from him. He lowered himself into a stance, readying his bone sword, drawing it up and holding it vertically with both hands near his face.  He swung at the ethereal clone multiple times, his blade passing directly through it, but giving him a good idea of how to carry his form.  Given his skill in Taijutsu and combat experience, he could diagnose for himself what seemed to be effective and what wasn't.

He formed a few combinations, echoing in his mind the types of strikes he was using; "Left slash, downward vertical strike, impale, spinning slash..." All the while practicing and adjusting his form to what seemed effective and comfortable.  His speed as a Taijutsu Specialist was evident as he formed his strikes, blurring at speeds impossible to follow for those without a Doujutsu or with just as much speed as himself.  He was often referred to as a God of Taijutsu because of this, though he rarely embraced the title. Bone God was more fitting for him...

Zanji  smirked and crossed off the summoning jutsu in his list of jutsu to learn off in his own personal mental check list. He was satisfied that he had finally had a little time to do a little jutsu training. Especially since he was so busy with learning more and more skills. He cracked his neck to the side and stretched out his arms  above his head. he had so much to learn and only a limited life span it was such a sad thing to be bound to this earth for brief moments in time. He wanted to stay on this earth for eternity if he had the power but alas he had not the skill to do the impossible. Wait no it wasn't impossible to do if his memory served him correctly there was a shinobi who could transfer his soul into other peoples bodies and take them over. Oh what was his name again. He cursed under his breath and then snapped his fingers how could he be so dumb. That shinobi's name was Orochimaru one of the previous holders of the snake contract that he had signed.

He shook his head and clicked his tongue behind his teeth as he smirked. He would need to make a mental note to go and read up on this Orochimaru in the leafs archives. He would shrug and return to his own studies once more. What to learn next was always such a pain in the ass to choose from. but he supposed he should do a little bit of weapon training in case of combat. He reached into his side holster and pulled out his kunai and placed them between his knuckles. it was at this point when he heard the sound of approaching footsteps coming from behind. He cracked his knuckles on his free hand and quickly turned about to see what appeared to be a leaf shinobi.  he narrowed his eyes and slowly took in the mans physical features making mental notes of his appearance. He was tall shinobi with mid length white hair and what appeared to be two red dots on his forehead. He thought to himself 'red dots where have i seen that before.' He remained silent as the man moved in closer. He had a mysterious air about him that put him on edge yet at the same time made him curious. he bore a konoha headband yet he did not seem familiar with him.

He shrugged and smiled at the newcomer and waved politely. "Ah hello there good morning to you. Just learning a few new jutsu and improving some of my skills." His smile slowly fading as he had no memory of this man before or seeing him before. It was really irking him about this man but he really needed to focus on his task at hand. He  returned his gaze back to his scroll and  pulled it to the side and smiled as he came up to the next jutsu on his list he wished to learn. Lets see it was the called the striking shadow snake jutsu. He smiled as he read about it and its prerequisites. he was astonished that this didnt requires any handseals but only to have the snake summoning contract He had that in spades.  He read oit over and over again slowly retaining every detail he could muster. he looked over at a nearby failed  log and  narrowed his eyes and thrust his arm towards it as a six snakes shot out from his wrist and  opened there mouths and hissed loudly as they shot ten meters out and wrapped around the log and  bit into it.  a dark purple substance leaked from the fangs and onto the grass as he moved his hand and threw the log into the forest and retracted the snakes back into his sleeve. He was proud he learned this jutsu so quickly.

A look of satisfaction lay rested up on his face  as he flexed his arm a few times and then looked at the kunai in his free hand.  He made a mental note that that striking shadow snake jutsu was defiantly going to come in handy later on especially if he had to fight long distance or he could use it a s a surprise attack. Then a idea came to mind perhaps he could place fuin seals on the snakes mouths and once they bit there target the seals would set. Not a bad idea he would need to do a little research on that later on. He shrugged as he took one of the kunai and placed the handle in his hand and thought 'Meh why not do a tiny bit of bukijutsu training while i am at it." He took a deep breath and slowly took aim at a target on a tree and threw his kunai one after the other into the tree. With a dull thud he watched as they sank into the tree with decent accuracy. But in his mind he knew he could do better so he promptly walked over and retrieved them and returned to his previous position and once again slowly took aim.

Roku's blade drifted through his own body with no resistance. He watched his own image become decapitated multiple times as the Dance of the Bloody Rose was displayed by one of the strongest of the Kaguya, the deadliest living user of the Bloody Dance of the Kaguya. His actual body reacted to the movements of the ethereal clone he had conjured just a few moments earlier. He danced, movements elegant and unrivaled in beauty and the ability to inflict death upon others. His body seemed to know what to do before he did, as if he had committed every movement, every single instinct to muscle memory through his hours upon days upon months upon years of training in the renowned arts of his clan. Perhaps he had become something more than a Master of Taijutsu.

Almost as if he had forgotten the presence of the other man, the sound of the other Shinobi's voice seemed to startle Roku. More accurately, he wasn't surprised at all, rather, it almost felt artificially as if he had just noticed the other individual's presence. Put simply, the man's casual voice pulled the young Kaguya man out of his trance-like combat state of mind and thrust him back into the vivid reality forced upon him by the world. It was as Roku thought... He had come to train too. Such a huge portion of a Shinobi's life was spent training that most spent what happened to be calculated as collectively three fourths of their time alive on the training field, sweating.

However, the Akatsuki Operative did not quite yet respond, as his Ethereal Clone was still attacking him. The clone lunged itself forward, and with the bone sword in its left hand, it struck at Roku's knees in a sweeping strike, that, were it solid, would destroy muscle had it hit, though his bones would have remained in perfect condition due to their extreme durability. Immediately, the Taijutsu Master hurled his weight backward about a single meter, becoming upside-down and balanced on his right hand facing away from his own clone, and toward the other Shinobi, though he paid him no attention. Roku did an action that, were he vertical, would look like he had bent his back and neck all the way backward to see behind himself, looking at his clone.

The clone, at this point, lunged forward in an attempt to drive its deathly white blood into the stomach of Roku; the area in which he had no bones protecting his organs. Roku reversed the grip on his blade so that he was holding it, essentially, upside-down and flipped himself by doing what would look like throwing his hand to his side after having it held directly up. This caused him to flip backward away from the onslaught of his clone while at the same time, drawing the blade across the chest of his opponent, though because he was not solid, it simply passed through the clone. Roku did multiple backflips through the air because of the single thrust of his arm, hurtling away from his opponent (himself) and landing around fifteen meters away on his feet.

The clone rushed toward Roku, furiously, and with extreme speed, however, before the clone had made it to its destination, the Kaguya brought his hands together to form a seal which dispelled the clone. Instead, he turned to look at the other Shinobi in the training area, now willing to speak back to him. "I wish you luck in your training. My name is Kereson Kaguya, what is your name." Roku had, of course, lied about his name, but his warm and welcome attitude was genuine. This was the name he had chosen when he memorized his cover. He was impersonating an ANBU from Konohagakure whose rank outside the ANBU was Special Jounin. Roku offered the man a smile before continuing on; "Oh, and I will continue training, but I'm still listening."

The Kaguya now walked about 10 meters further away from the other man and performed a jutsu known only to himself. He brought his hands together and performed hand seals, the handle of his sword clamped between his palms so that his fingers were free to make the necessary formations. When his hand seals were complete, bones began growing from his ribs on either side of his body. They both contorted and twisted as they formed, shaping as they grew into humanoid figures. Plates of bone served as armor to them as they covered almost every inch of their bodies. This was the Shikotsumyaku: Bone Golem Technique only known to Roku.

The individuals created from the technique looked directly at Roku standing on either side of him. They stood motionless, waiting for Roku's instruction. He stood silently for a moment, merely staring at the two. After about 15 seconds, he spoke two short words that could cost him his life. He said, "Kill me," and the effect was immediate. Having previously been motionless zombies, the two Golems immediately sprang into action. Both could move at the same speed and ability as Roku... And there were two. With this knowledge in mind, the two could very fell follow up on their order. Roku could die during this training. And to top it off, he was training with a skill that he lacked ability in.

Upon Roku's words, the actions of the two Bone Golems were instant. Both moved directly toward Roku with their fists raised, ready to strike from their already close position. Roku performed a risky maneuver to a triumph the situation. As the two Golems rushed toward Roku from either side, Roku sprang into the air and planted both feet on what would be the face of the Golem if it had one, seemingly in a form that would indicate a drop kick. To strike the other Golem, Roku simultaneously rose the sword and thrusted it directly over his head, connecting with the face of the other Golem. Because it was of his own bone, the tip of the sword did not damage the Golem, nor did his kick, though the force drove the two backward.

Twirling in midair, Roku landed on two feet and one hand and, with the speeds of a Taijutsu Specialist, he sprinted at the Golem on his left whom at received the point of his sword in its face. Roku, with his left hand, drew the blade across his chest, and once he was in range, he struck at the Golem downward left diagonally. The Golem ducked, but before it could react, Roku took another step forward, shifting his weight and allowing him to swing his blade horizontally at throat level to his right. The sword collided with the neck of the Golem, and although it did not damage it, sent it spiraling away, and it landed and rolled on the ground, though it got up and shook the blow off as if it was nothing.

Roku immediately shifted his step again, hearing heavy footsteps behind him, stepping backward with his left foot and turning toward his left toward the second bone Golem, but before Roku could react, a large bone fist collided with his jaw and sent him ragdolling toward the other Golem, who brought its right fist up as to connect with Roku's face with the back of his hand and send him directly into the ground. However just as Roku's downward descent began in his arc of flight, he was low enough to the ground to grab at the grass.

Roku clutched at the grass as he was about a meter from the first Bone Golem and used his already previously established momentum to hurl his legs in a clockwise motion, sweeping at the feet of the Bone Golem. As Roku connected, the Golem was sent a few feet in the air as it spiraled in cartwheels. Roku returned to his feet, though he had slid beneath the airborne Golem so that it was now between Roku and the other Golem. Roku grasped his Bone Sword in both hands, identical to the grip used in baseball and swung as hard as humanly possible at the still-airborne Bone Golem, sending it hurtling into the other.

Zanji sighed as he cracked his knuckles individually as he flexed his hand he needed to get better at his weapon abilities yet  he also wanted to get his taijutsu up at the same time. Such a pain in the ass to do all this work but it was all for the betterment of himself.  He wanted no he craved to be stronger above all things. He wanted to be the very best shinobi he was capable of being. He took a deep breath and then held it in as he took his aim at the tree again. His first attempt wasn't to shabby he could already tell his accuracy was much better now his vision less shaky from nerves. He imagined a large target pinned up on the tree. It helped him focus and give him a proper target. He exhaled and was about to throw his kunai. His hair blew to the side gently as a breeze from the east came.

His attention pulled away as he caught sight of the unknown shinobi practicing his own bukijutsu training. His eyes  focused as he watched the ninja move gracefully with his weapon. His eyes widened  as he saw that the sword that they were using was in fact made from bone. Could his suspicions be true about this shinobi could be be from  the thought extinct Kaguya clan. He could not be sure but he did have  a few distinguishing marks from that clan. the white hair the two dots on the forehead. Though he could of possibly fashioned that bone out from a animal. he was not sure the sheer thought of a Kaguya descendant alive brought about goosebumps up his spine. His scientific curiosity and his lust for power battled with in his mind each wanting there own things from this man.

He watched as he battled a clone of himself  over and over agian. yet something was wrong perhaps something was wrong with his eyes. He just could not keep up with the mans speed of his attacks. His eyes widened in shock and awe st this level of skill of taijutsu. This man was clearly something more than just a taijutsu master. His envy was gnawing at him as this man clearly had superiority in skill he could only begin to fathom.  His toes curled in anger and was about to shout out as the clone was about to attack the man once again but the man dispelled the jutsu.  Even if it was just a normal clone jutsu  it was a reflex to warn someone from danger. He kept a kind smile on his face as the unknown shinobi before him introduced himself to him. So his suspicions of this man being from the Kaguya clan were true.  Oh if only he could get a few scrapings from this mans bones he could have them implanted into him But that would be most difficult since the Kaguya clan members bones were as hard as steel.

This only motivated him to try and get it even more. Perhaps he could befriend this man and gain his trust. He would need to remain calm and composed and above else friendly. "Well it is a honor and a pleasure to meet you Kereson Kaguya You have truly splendid talents in your taijutsu I couldn't keep up with your movements when you were fighting your clone."  He sat down on the ground once again and looked at the scroll he had unfolded. He didn't need anything else from that particular scroll at the moment so he would put it back in his bag for the time being.  He quickly rolled it up and placed it inside his bag and pulled out a different scroll this time. This particular scroll had the seal of the Uzumaki clan on it and it was slightly weathered.

He was going to be unsealing a hidden jutsu only known to his clan this day. He wanted to learn it no more like he needed to know it. It was a very powerful defensive technique  but also could be used offensively. But for now he would practice just learning it. He carefully unfolded the scroll and lay it out in front of him  the jutsu to be learned was the Kongō Fūsa Adamantine Sealing Chains. this technique would use his chakra chains and erect a dome barrier around the caster in a fifteen meter wider radius. He looked over at the man named Kereson Oh i do apologiize i should of interested myself my name is Zanji Uzumaki." He slowly returned his gaze back down to his scroll reading over the description of how the jutsu worked over and over again His eyes mesmerized by the aged yellow paper.

Then he heard a sweet sound and turned his head. The kaguya had made a few handseals and bones began expanding out from the sides of his rib cage. Oh this was exciting most exciting he wanted to see what this man was doing. Out front he sides two golems made of bone crept out of him. A most intriguing jutsu indeed he was ever so curious on how it worked but he would probably find out soon enough. He heard the man say kill him to the golem's and they  obeyed. Well at least tried he chuckled as he watched the man fend off the golem's attacks as best as he could. His reflexes and skill in bukijutsu were very impressive. Oh how fascinating it was to watch first hand the legendary kekkai genkai of the kaguya at work. It was almost enough to make him drool. But no he would keep his composure now matter how amazing the sight it was going on to the side of him.

He took in a few breaths and closed his eyes and then reopened them. A fire alight in his eyes as he focused intensely at the fight he was to learn. This was one of the few last surviving hidden jutsu's of his clan that were not lost when the whirlpool country was destroyed so many years ago. He flexed each individual finger on his hand. he shouted towards the Kaguya "sorry if this gets in your way Kereson but think of it this way more intensive training." He bit his lower lip as he shot out the chakra chains out of his back into the earth. The chains extending out from his back and into the earth as they shot back up towards the surface and crossed around the area in a dome shape the chains intersecting. He was curious to see how strong this barrier could take but that curiosity was subsided as he turned his attention back tot he Kaguya's own training.

Perhaps if the Kaguya was able to chip off some of the golem's bones. Oh he would consider that a very lucky find if he could get his hands on it. He was thoroughly  impressed and would watch as the golem's were sent flying  with what resembled a baseball bat strike against them. Oh those golem's were definitely gonna feel that and especially once they hit the barrier wall. Watching this mans training inspired him to do some more training of his own. He needed to be faster and increase his reflexes. Something in his gut was nagging him that something bad was going to happen and he always trusted his gut. He dangled the kunai in his hand and threw it  up into the air  and watched it in mid air. He reached up and grabbed it by the handle and threw it at a nearby tree.  He reached into his side holster and grabbed the remaining kunai in began throwing them one after another towards the tree where he had fired the kunai at previously. He smirked as he watched them land into the trees hard surface. He would walk towards the tree once again the chakra chains in his back extending as he pulled the kunai from the tree and  put them in his holster one after the other. He turned his attention back over at kereson waiting to see more of his spectacular skills in taijutsu and bukijutsu. He hoped one day for his own skill to be on that level. Oh how he would be nearly untouchable with those skills oh the possibilities that he could do the fights he could win.

"Hold!" The moment which had just passed held two extreme events of importance. The surname "Uzumaki" echoed in the ears of the Kaguya as his Golems gathered to his left and right sides, having obeyed his command to cease combat. If he was of Uzumaki blood... Roku needed him. Perhaps not this man particularly, but... He needed an Uzumaki. The details of Roku's plan rolled through his head like credits. Images of particular events, sounds, thoughts, alternate actions... The extensive plot of the Akatsuki, known to no one but the most important and respected members of the organization.

It was because of this plan that when the next event unfurled, Roku remained motionless, despite the thirst for the blood of someone attempting to trap him. The Operative's demeanor changed completely. He stood perfectly erect, and his joyous voice was replaced, instead, with one comprised of nothing but malice. If this man did not obey Roku's instructions, he would likely die. Fast. And the Kaguya spoke. "I want you to drop this barrier. Now. You don't make sudden movements in the presence of a beast." Only after he spoke did Roku turn toward the Uzumaki. His eyes were full of a danger difficult for the bravest of souls to endure.

Zanji panted a few times as he examined his fine handy work on this barrier. It was quite large  and durable he could see oh how he would remember to use this carefully. He was going to need more skill. Especially if he wanted to keep a victim trapped within the barrier long enough. He turned his head as he heard the kaguya speak to his golem's telling them to hold. it seemed that particular jutsu needed audio commands for the golem's to function. He would make a key mental note of that s he sat down on the grass.  He closed his eyes for a brief moment and was enjoying the solitude the barrier brought no outside distractions could get in perhaps he would use this more often.

He let out a yawn and stretched as he looked directly into kersons eyes. He could tell this man was extremly dangerous yet his own resolve shinned brightly in his green eyes. " Not a problem ill remove the barrier Kereson my apologies for the inconvenience."  Zanji retracted the chakra chains back into his body. The chains rattled loudly as the uncoiled and zipped across  as the barrier dispelled around them quickly. the spherical shape quickly losing its visibility as he reeled in the last of the chakra chains. He scratched behind his head and gave a cheerful smile to the kaguya. " Once again i do apologize for the inconvenience of my barrier didn't think it would expand so quickly."  He slowly got up to his feet and brushed off some grass from his pants and slowly his hands raised in the air in a peaceful manner as he took a few steps back and reached into his bag and grabbed his canteen and unscrewed the top. He took a long drag from it and held it out. "Care for some water kereson?"

The malice in the eyes of the Bone God seemed to dissipate as his anger was met with none and returned with respect. Perhaps joining Akatsuki was beginning to cause him to become paranoid. Perhaps it was turning him into a different man... A man that would be watching his back for his entire life, always scouting, always calculating, always analyzing. But... No... That couldn't be it. No, it was turning him into a man of action. A man who didn't like what he saw in the world and was doing something about it. No more was he a coward, hidden within the Clouds. He was going to right the corruptions of the world. He was a man who would be happy with himself and his life upon his death.

Upon his offer for water, Roku approached Zanji, not interested in water at all, but in doing something similar to what he did with Daemon Hyuga, the current Hokage of Konohagakure no Sato. As Roku approached the Uzumaki, his Bone Golems followed. Roku placed his palms on the head of each of the Golems, and as he did so, they seemed to swirl and contort in strange shapes as they withdrew into his palms. His Shikotsumyaku: Bone Golem Technique was dispelled.

Roku reached Zanji and extended his hand to accept the canteen offered him. "Yeah... Thanks." He gripped the canteen in his left hand and withdrew a cloth from his pocket to wipe the saliva left from Zanji's swig for cleanliness and placed the cloth in his pocket. He then held the canteen above his mouth and laughed as he spoke to the Uzumaki. "How long do you think I can waterfall it before spilling it on my face?" Without awaiting the answer, Roku suspended the canteen about two feet above his head as he let water pour into his mouth. He drank for about three seconds before splashing the water over his face and handing the canteen back to Zanji laughing and sputtering. "Definitely not how I planned that."

Zanji Continued to house a kind and polite smile on his face. He never ceased his eye contact with the Kaguya especially since he  dropped the glare of malice in his eyes. Perhaps he was a wolfs in sheep's clothing, for now he would keep this man on his good side. He could not afford to fight this man. Though the truth was  more like he could not fight this man.  The Kaguya's speed and weapon handling were leagues above his own current levels he could very well just disappear and come up behind him and impale him at any given moment. He watched as the Kaguyas golem's moved along to the sides and placed his hands over them. What was he up to was he by some chance going to attack him with the golem's or was he ending his jutsu.

He narrowed his eyes as he watched the swirl and contort back into the palms of his hands. So it seemed the wolf had been tamed for the moment. He could slightly relax but only just slightly he always needed to keep his guard up.  He hesitated as he watched the Kaguya begin to walk towards him slowly his toes curled inside his black sandals. this man gave him a very uneasy feeling about him. He could not quite place it but he would figure it out eventually. For the time being he would play the kind and friendly person. He watched as the kaguya wipe away his spit on a cloth his eyes narrowed as he watch eh man pocket away his dna. The man thought he was being so sneaky oh he would let it come to pass for the moment after all he could be wrong and all. He chuckled slightly as the man took the canteen and suspended it over his head.

Oh this was defiantly going to end most baldy for him. He watched as the ice cold watery contents poured into the mans mouth. He counted inside his mind and it didn't even take three seconds before the man spilled the contents onto his face. He laughed merrily at the foolish antics of the Kaguya. " Well was bound to happen with the way you did it but well it all ended with a good laugh so its worth it in the end." Zanji remained calm his body relaxed as he reached into his bag and grabbed a clean towel he had freshly laundered the night before and Said one word "catch!" He tossed it at the kaguya.  He had intended to use that to wipe his sweat away but he could always shower off at home.  "It's freshly clean just did it last night dry off before you catch a cold." He chuckled once more and took in a few deep breaths of the clean fresh air around them. Now that the barrier was dispelled he could feel the cool fresh breeze of the wind  on his warm skin.

As Roku caught the towel Zanji threw to him, he spoke. "Well... I'd like to see you do any better." Roku had always craved conversations like this, but whenever he had them... He couldn't FEEL them. He could not truly experience the conversation whenever he had them, they were always accompanied by some sort of an ulterior motive. Here it had begun as simply not breaking his cover; he'd been posing in the Leaf Village as a man who tended to be very cheerful, though because of his experiences on the battlefield, he could quickly snap. Such was the danger of being a Shinobi... You lose yourself, one way or another. Despite his original purpose, it had changed when the two men exchanged introductions... Roku was in need of an Uzumaki clan member for a long time.

Roku handed the towel back to Zanji, unused, and clearly distracted by the thoughts in his mind. "So... Zanji was it? Tell me... The people you've killed in battle... Do you see them in your dreams? Every time you close your eyes?" A grave expression shadowed Roku's face. He had no real interest in this conversation other than the motive behind it, but the Kaguya clan were extremely good actors. They'd all learned to control impulses stronger than almost any other person in existence by the age of 10.

Still listening to Zanji, Roku tried performing a jutsu he had only read about before. He spoke to Zanji first however. "I'm going to try a technique. I dunno how well it will work, however." Roku performed the hand seals necessary, and immediately, the technique he had tried manifested itself in what seemed like full power. Of course, it was a D-Rank technique, but he was still extremely pleased with himself. Mist erected from every direction, so dense that from where Roku stood, he could barely perceive Zanji. It was the Hidden Mist Technique, though he immediately dispelled it.

Zanji chuckled as the Kaguya challenged him to do better. He smirked and took the canteen in his hand and was about to pour the contents out onto his own face. The canteen dripped a few drops of water into his mouth and he screwed the cap on and raised his hands triumphantly. " Ta DA well sort of hehe." He tossed the canteen into his bag and placed the Uzumaki scroll back inside the bag sliding it into a scroll container casing. He took back the towel and looked at roku as he asked him a very unusual question. He stood silent for a few moments as he contemplated his answer. He honestly did not have a very good answer to give to the man. he had not thought about the people he has had to kill in years.

He licked his lips as he exhaled and looked at the Kaguya. A thick mist began to pull into the grove as the Kaguya used a jutsu. Creating a thick mist around the area. His paranoia was beginning to take a hold of him, but quickly dissipated as the jutsu was dispelled. He had on a emotionless expression on his face as he looked at the Kaguya. " Honestly I feel nothing for the people I have had to kill, I do not see them in my dreams or waking state I am at perfect peace with my murderous deeds." He blinked and began to think of what that jutsu that the Kaguya had done was. If memory served him it was the hidden mist jutsu. It was a jutsu of great versatility, especially when fighting against those of dojutsu capabilities.

He stretched out his arms slowly upwards  and cracked his neck to the side. Well he had done enough lying about it was about time he got back to training.  He pulled himself up from the ground and  took a few steps away from the Kaguya and began to do some leg stretches to help get the blood pumping. He rotated his wrists in a circular motion his cartilage popping loudly. Oh what a conundrum he was in though he really wasn't sure of what he was going to train ext. There were so many possibilities that he had in mind. He kept his eyes on the kaguya's movements though. Then he snapped his fingers and smiled eagerly. He knew exactly what he was going to learn another snake jutsu.

Roku stood for a moment... To feel nothing for those he killed... That was definitely something the young Kaguya had never seen before. Even specialized assassins felt something... At least their first few times. Roku was like thus for the first two years of his Shinobi career. But one day, on a mission... The feeling of guilt no longer existed in the man's mind, nor his heart. For he had stumbled upon a brutal truth... A truth that, at first, he found hard to handle. He had stumbled upon the truth that in order to protect his home village of Kumogakure no Sato, he'd have to kill people of other nations. And they were prepared to do the same. So Roku simply nodded, nothing more to say on the matter.

The Akatsuki Operative put some distance between himself and Zanji so that their training would not interfere with each other. He needed to leave, but he wanted to try two more jutsu out before he did so. Roku turned toward a tree, some distance away from Zanji, and chose it as a target for this next jutsu. He performed the hand seals necessary, and formed chakra in the center of his stomach. He then passed the chakra up through his esophagus and into his mouth, dividing it up into three tight balls, each about half the size of a fist. He expelled the first from his mouth at extreme velocity toward the tree of his selection in the form of water. He immediately expelled the other two, one after the other, and smiled, satisfied, as the impacts of the Water Bullets took chunks out of the tree about the size of someone's head with their extreme force.

Though he was happy of his success, Roku had no time to praise himself as he prepared for his next technique; The Suiton: Corn Starch Syrup Field. Roku performed the necessary hand seals and, once more, gathered chakra from all parts of his body into his stomach. This time, he kept all the chakra in one piece as it flowed from his mouth, transforming into a sticky corn starch liquid as it exited his mouth. A wave the liquid rushed from his mouth and spread along the ground, and, as it cleared, it was revealed that all the grass had become stuck, matted to the ground.

Roku smiled at his success on learned three jutsu on his first try in one day. He turned to Zanji, however, for he now had pressing matters to attend to. For it was time... And he spoke. "Yo, Zanji, I've got a mission to go receive a briefing for in a bit, so I guess I've got to go. We should train together again in the future." And without warning, Roku performed a Body Flicker Technique and left the area.

He got down on to his knees and out stretched his left leg to the side. Zanji then began to bounce up and down pumping the precious blood inside his body to move faster. He closed his eyes as he awaited to hear the kaguya's response to his answer about not feeling any remorse. But all he heard was silence from the man. Though he was mistaken at that he saw the Kaguya give a nod in understanding to his answer and turned away his gaze. He needed to search his memories about snake jutsu he had read about them before he had had tea with his cousin the other day. So It irked him that he could not remember off the top of his head and showed he needed to increase his intellect and memorization skills,

He bit his lip and closed his eyes. his mind closing all outside distractions for a few moments of peace. Giving him clarity as he combed through his mind of that days events. He had been reading so many scrolls that day it was hard to discern between all that information. He took a calming breath and sorted out the information slowly shifting it aside as he finally found the information about snake jutsu. He smiled happily as he opened his eyes and muttered "ahh there you are." He turned his head in the direction of the kaguya as he heard the sound of something breaking off. He smirked as he watched as the kaguya had moved away from him some more and had continued his own jutsu training. He watched as the kaguya fired three precise shots of the water bullet jutsu against a tree watching it it break away large chunks the size of a person head clean off. So Kereson was also a water style user it seemed he would make a mental note of that if he ever wanted to learn some new high ranking jutsu from him,

He covered his mouth and quietly belched into it as his breakfast had decided to finish digesting itself. He exhaled quietly through his nose and let out a sigh. The kaguya was a quick study when it came to learning new jutsu or increasing his skills. A rare trait indeed however he himself needed to focus on learning this new jutus. He was not exactly thrilled to be learning this but it had many uses. In fact it slightly creep-ed him out. The sheer though of having thousands of snakes crawling out from his mouth was enough to make him shudder in disgust. But no matter how much he detested that thought he needed to learn it. He parted his hair from his eyes as he watche Kereson demonstrate another water style ninjutsu. He close examined the hand seals and the jutsu as it expelled out of him onto the grass.

So it seemed this was a trap style water ninjutsu. A most interesting combination he would make a mental note of learning that later on. He shrugged as kereson looked over at him and told him he had to leave to go on a mission. He nodded understandingly and waved goodbye to him as kereson used the shushin no jutsu using his enhanced speed he would leave the area near instantaneously to Zanji's own perspective. Left alone all over again to continue his training just the way he liked it. Yet deep down inside him he actually began to miss the company of another person. He shook his head and closed his eyes and began to focus. This jutsu required no hand seals just like the hidden shadow snake jutsu he had learned from before.

He shuddered uncomfortably as he opened his eyes and concentrated on the the task at hand. he was definatly going to regret learning this or more in fact doing it. He lay down on his front and aimed for the tree he had been using as a target for his kunai and opened his mouth. The sensation was most unsettling at first as the thousands of snakes dashed out of his mouth sliding along the ground towards the tree. He continued to expel more and more snakes allowing for maximum damage as well as defensive capability.

His mouth had gotten use to the sensation and soon it didn't even begin to bother him at all. the snakes hissed and charged at the tree opening there mouths and extending blades from inside them . Soon the tree was nothing but a pin cushion for the swords from the snakes mouths. He sighed and panted and quickly dispelled the jutsu the snakes poffing into one giant cloud of smoke. He flexed his hands a few times and laughed. The sun was shining brightly as he walked over to his bag and packed up his stuff and headed for home walking away happy with the results of this days training.
