DUTY CALLS[mission/ V]

Dray had just woken up pretty early this morning. He had quickly had his bath as he knew that the raikage waslikely to send him on a mission today. He was simply following his instincts and he made sure to prepare well. He wore a black long sleeve and his black shinobi pants. He put on his anbu armour consisting of a large metal plate that covered his upper torso and two metal plates on both arms. He placed his anbu sword on his back. He held a good quantity of kunais, shurikens, explosive tags, smoke bombs, a medium scroll and a large fuuma shuriken on his back. Finally, he tied his kumogakure headband proudly on his forehead.

He looked once again in the mirror as he made his way oit of his home. Without wasting anytime, he headed to the raikage's office and upon getting there, it seemed like the raikage had actually been waiting for someone.... When he got to the office, he met a man sitting down in a corner of the room. Shifting his gaze to the raikage, the raikage then spoke....The man you are seeing over there has requested the help of kumogakure to safely travel to the land of snow.. Yukigakure to be exact. On your travel, you are likely to be attacked by bandits or hired shinobi but if you are lucky, you may as well travel safely... But I doubt if you will even care about luck.... One more thing, you and another anbu will be taking the mission together..he ought to be here already though, he is never late.. Let's just wait for him a bit. He'll soon be here..... The raikage finished talking as he sat on his chair and rotated it to face away from dray and the man in the corner.. Dray wondered who this other anbu was as he rarely did mission with someone else.. He sure hoped this person was of his calibre as the raikage mentioned that he was never late... Seeing that the raikage was facing away from him, and the client had his head buried in his hands, with nothing to do but just to wait for this other anbu, dray simply move to the wall beside him and merged with it concealing himself within it as he used the cloak technique and waited for this rarely late anbu member...

Today was business, so Saburo collected himself early in the morning and instructed a few guys to keep watch around the streets for a day or two. When Kumogakure calls for him to be on active duty, the Daitoushou will don the mask and uniform for another bloody work. His distinctive golden flame-like hair could not be disguised; rather, he wanted to show off the pride of his locks if he can’t help it. The mask he wore was the same that he had persevered for years - that round, pure-white porcelain with two eye sockets and a downwards curve for a mouth line to tell others that the guy behind the mask is not a happy camper. It had red marks surrounding the eye sockets like the brow frame of a monkey. His black tank top was covered by the typical ANBU, including the protection vest, ninja leggings, and arm/shin guards. A black hooded cloak made all of this unseen to the public eye, as Saburo left his household, a sense of security wavering inside of him as he has to leave his organization in the hands of his close followers. Picking up his speed, Saburo made it over to the Raikage’s Tower, the peak building under the heavenly clouds that hovered above the thunderous settlement. The man had transformed from being the biggest gangster head in the village to one of the shadows that protected the village in secret. This double identity was not well known to even people of this village, and so when Saburo opened the door to the confines of the room where they would begin the escort, no would bat an eye that he was here to serve and do the Raikage’s bidding. A complete hoax.

The Raikage was facing away from him, so he would not enter unless he was instructed to do so. From a mere peek or two though, he could already tell that the man in the corner must be the client. Though unaware of the mission, he knew that he would be preoccupied for some time if he had to be called in for an assignment only for the village's black ops. The disguised Daitaishou raised his right hand behind the outer frame of the door. Even behind the mask, his voice would be rough and slightly hoarse, almost as if he always talked with a cough.

“Good morning, my Raikage. How can I offer you my services, today?

Dray was pretty bored seeing no sign of active life in the room.. He wondered what the raikage meant by this other anbu was rarely late when a great number of minutes had gone by and the other anbu was yet to come... Ice wondered if the raikage was no longer trusting him to complete a mission perfectly. He had never let anybody down at least, the raikage. All the dark missions he had taken for the sake of the village had been executed perfectly without any mistakes or any trouble or even the slightest trace that a shinobi of the leaf had been there. He had done his best at regulating his personality between Dray yuki and Ice..and even for the fact that he didn't have many people around him, not even anyone apart from the raikage knew his identity except for one or two of the village's head.

Dray was about to stop the cloak technique he used to conceal himself into the wall and ask the raikage if he could take the mission alone.. Just as he was about to do this, he heard a thick and coarse voice outside the raikage's office door asking if he could come in...using his sensory skills, he could sense an enourmous amount of chakra outside the door and he was certain that it was surely this other anbu member... The raikage did not turn to the door as he simply responded that the visitor should enter.......

[Saburo enters the room.....]

Dray watched a man walk into the room with full anbu attire including an anbu coat. He was pretty much taller, muscular and older than dray. He just walked into the room as dray held his calm and the client in the corner seemed to look up to the situation.

The anbu stood some inches away from the raikage's desk. The raikage still not turning back commended the anbu of his early arrival in sarcasm.. The raikage went over the info of the mission again as he had earlier told dray and he told the anbu that both him and Ice would be doing the escort together..

As of that moment, dray was about some inches backwards from the anbu and then, he stopped the jutsu as he simply made himself visible.... He waited for any reactions from the anbu as he glanced at the client showing that they were heading out soon...

This veteran of high-class missions listened intently to the Raikage’s debriefing, as he had done many times before and with a past Raikage. The assignment posed some risk to it, as expected of a mission of this calibre, but the soldier had always braved through the worst of combat both in and out of Kumogakure. A few bandits would be fodder to Saburo and his almighty kekkei genkai. He was glad to hear that the destination was Yukigakure, which was just the neighboring country, so he could get back to his household shortly and resume running the streets. But something irked Saburo deeply, and it was that the Raikage was not facing him when he was talking. Although it is not like the Raikage should be well informed of Saburo’s reputation in the village, he felt disrespected, and his own blood pressure slightly elevated, approaching apeshit-angry levels. Perhaps he should activate his Stand and turn the Raikage’s lame throne around for him? Before his thoughts could escape him and he act with his balls and not his brain, Saburo’s ears got word of an accomplice on this ANBU mission. A partner? I cannot get close to him.. His ears were exposed to another treat, when the flicker of a cloak from the wall near the door that he was facing away from revealed the presence of another male in the room. He knew this one. The wolf mask gave away the identity of a young’un to the special ops named Ice, of the Yuki clan. Saburo did not see him as anyone particularly special or interesting, but his early inclusion into the group suggested that his skills were formidable among the village. This young man was able to get behind my back. If I wasn’t busy wondering whether he entered in just now or was hiding in a little corner of the room, I would have back-kicked him in the gut the moment I heard him pull the cloak off. This man has to watch himself, for even oysters have enemies… Saburo’s right hand found itself on his heart as what appeared to be an air of sigh escape from his mask. “Ohaha. There is the kiddo. Right on time so we can get on going. Make sure you know what we’re doing.” Saburo then extended his hand out to him. “You uh… can call me Saburo. Saburo Basara. Nice to meet you. Hope we can get together some other time, right?” Saburo said. He portrayed himself was friendly and welcoming, even if he only wanted pull some wool over Dray’s eyes for a bit. Just then, the client who was an assistant to a diplomat, rose from his seat and called for the two black ops to quickly follow after him as they begin their journey to a foreign land. Quite the presumptuous man.

Dray heard the anbu member mutter some words like he knew who dray was.. He walked towards him and extended a hand saying...“You uh… can call me Saburo. Saburo Basara. Nice to meet you. Hope we can get together some other time, right?”... If was never part of dray to get too close to people or even extending his hands to shake..but since dray and this other anbu would be partners on this mission, dray hoped he would get along with him as dray raised up his hands in form of waving to the anbu since his wolf mask didn't show any facial reaction..You can call me Ice.. Dray concluded as he exited the room first probably with the other anbu and clients following behind as dray headed to the the village gates and exiting it...
