Invasion of bandits[mission/roku]

The night was a pretty long one. Dray could not sleep all through the night. Weird thoughts just kept getting in his head and he tried his best to push them out. Balancing his lifestyle with his anbu work was a great responsibility though he always managed to put them at equilibrium. Dray had woken up pretty early this morning. He had had his bath as usual and put on his usual attire though, he still had the same weird thoughts he had at night still roaming about in his mind. Today was sort of like an anbu day off but no day was really an off for dray so he just made sure to be well prepared everyday. He put on his usual clothing, arming himself with his fuuma shuriken, some kunais, shurikens, explosives and paper bombs before heading on out. Dray exited his home and thought of where to go. He finally decided not to go to far so, he planned on going to the town square and returning in a split second.
Dray continued walking gently until he got to the town square. The town square was unusually crowded and dray had to wade his way through the crowds though most people paved way for him as he passed through due to his excellent skills as a ninja of kumogakure no sato.

The Bone God yawned as he was awakened from his bed by a pound at his door. He looked at the alarm clock on the table made of ash wood next to his bed. Roku had to squint and blink to clear his eyes enough of their early morning fatigue. 6:30. Wasn't he off today? It was his last day of rest that he had requested. He'd given his superiors the reasoning that he had expended too much chakra on his last mission, but the real reason was that he could not expose his new left eye to the light until a week after his surgery. The banging continued. Roku got up and exchanged the bandages over his left eye, as he had bled into the ones he wore over night a bit. He was supposed to be done bleeding by now... The bandages covered almost a third of his head, including his left eye, temple, and ear.

Finally, almost 5 minutes after he'd awakened, the Kaguya made his way lazily to his front door and opened it with a turn of the doorknob. On the other side was a worried looking Chuunin that Roku had hired onto the reconnaissance section of perimeter security. He spoke breathlessly, too fast for Roku to completely understand, though he caught the main idea of it all. "Reports... Bandits... Rear end of the village... Number unknown."

The Jounin became completely alert. His face lost its fatigue and he fired off instructions to the Chuunin. "I'll be there in 5 minutes. Go ahead of me so that when I get there, you can give me a full report." The Chuunin stood in place as if looking for further instruction. "GO!!" By use of the Body Flicker, the Chuunin disappeared from Roku's front doorstep.

The young Kaguya retreated back inside his home, and within 30 seconds was fully clothed in a white kimono and his black pouch inside it, hanging from the left side of his waist. Roku was instantaneously out his door, sprinting through the village at speeds that only a Taijutsu Master such as himself could achieve. He was completely on the opposite side of the village so it would take him a bit of time to get there. He kept his eyes open for Chuunin and Jounin level ninja, knowing that because the numbers were unknown, he could be overwhelmed.

It wasn't long before he arrived in Town Square and nearly ran into a man he recognized. It was the same man who had performed his Byakugan transplant and Roku knew him to be a capable ninja. Roku rattled off the situation quickly but clearly, in the way that he had learned on the battlefield. Speed and clarity were essential when relaying reports on the battlefield. "I may need your help. There are reports of bandits on the rear end of the village, near the hospital. I think they may be raiding for drugs. Numbers are unknown, there could be a lot. You wanna tag along and help out a bit?" Roku, of course, knew the man wouldn't say no, as it was law of the village that if it was under attack in any way, all available ninja needed to protect the village. Of course, only Roku's perimeter security and himself would know of the attack right now because it was also a regulation that Roku began as Head of Perimeter Security not to let a controlled situation become known to the public so as to avoid panic.

The town square was bustling with activity from almost every villager yet the village looked as calm as ever though dray sensed something unusual. He felt activated but still, he thought maybe it was just his usual "always on guard" self.
As he continued walking through the village square, he heard irregular footsteps. Someone was running. Probably towards his direction. Would anyone dare attack him in broad daylight and in an open area too? Dray focused on the steps as somebody finally got to him.
His approach showed that he was not aiming for dray and as dray looked closely, he remembered the young man in an instant. He was not one to forget a face. The man wore a white kimono and what confirmed dray's memories was the large bandage covering his eyes, ear and let's just say the left side of his face. He also recognized dray as his surgeon. Dray snickered as the man explained why he was running. He had gotten info that a group of bandits were attacking a part of the village. They probably came in to steal drugs. Dray knew that something was wrong but he just could not pin- point what it was exactly. The young man then asked dray if he would tag along in knocking out some threats. "I would love to see you use that whity thingy I implanted into your left eye socket since it's already been a week now.
Both dray and the young man who dray did not know his name yet headed towards the area where the bandits were attacking. The bandits were attacking the rear end of the village and they had even begun harrassing the villagers. "A crime in broad daylight. Harrassing my fellow villagers eh.. Let's see how well or should I say how confident you are....." Dray said.

Hearing this elite Jounin refer to one of the Three Great Doujutsu as "that whitey thing" somehow made the most dangerous Kaguya in history laugh almost hysterically. It was so out of place to hear someone so high in Kumogakure's hierarchy to do something so... Well... Silly. Nonetheless, it DID spike Roku's curiosity... But he had almost no idea how to use it. He'd heard most transplanted Doujutsu remained active in the new host's eye socket, but that the Byakugan, for some reason, was different. That was probably a good thing... The others required them to be covered to stop the chakra draw, but the Byakugan could see through whatever was covering it. It would leach off his chakra until he... Well... Died.

Roku replied as these random thoughts entered his mind. "Indeed... I'd like to see how it works. I assume you just concentrate chakra into your..." Roku's voice trailed as he activated the Byakugan. He could see so many things at once that he didn't know what to focus on. He could see the scars on the back of his leg while looking straight forward and he could see that, the surrounding vicinity, there 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 bandits. He spoke aloud in a wondering voice. "This... This is amazing. No wonder the Hyuuga are so powerful..."

There were two in the ally between the hospital and some other building, in the process of mugging a civilian. There were two in the Hospital storage room which was located in the basement at the back of the building and opened directly to the outside so that medicine shipments could easily be unloaded. There was 1 located at the hatch where the supply room opened to the outside, and two located on either side of the inside of a hole busted into the village wall. All of this he picked up in an instant, using an eye which was covered by cloth. Wow... Roku relayed the information to Dray and took off to the ally where the woman was being mugged.

She seemed to be holding out pretty well, as she still had control of her bag, and the men who were assaulting her were so intent on her that what Roku did next was easy. He pointed at each of them, one with the pointer finger of his left hand and one with the pointer of his right. He activated his Shikotsumyaku technique called Ten Finger Drilling Bullets and two bullet shaped bone shrapnel fired from his fingertips and each found its mark in the skull of one of them. Immediately, Roku was moving.

By focusing chakra to the bottoms of his feet, Roku sprinted up the hospital wall to the roof in no time flat, truly showcasing his raw speed. He ran to the end and had a clear view of the two bandits stationed near the village wall. He pointed at these two as well, but this time with his middle fingers, and it was deja vu. Bone shrapnel erupted from his fingertips and planted themselves in the skulls of the two men, and they dropped, silently. Cold. Dead. All four of his targets were out of sight of the other three, but Roku, with his Byakugan still activated, watched what Dray would do in the situation.

The young man seemed to have somehow activated the whit thingy.. The byakugan in his left eye socket.. Dray knew this activation was not planned as the young man was earlier saying something before he stopped. Dray was well aware of what the byakugan could do. It could give the user a clear line of sight. Almost about three hundred and fifty- nine radius of view, make it easier for them to break out of genjutsu or even detect barriers and chakra natures. This man was one lucky man for the fact that the byakugan even had it's sole techniques.
The young man muttered about the hyuugas which were from konoha being so powerful. He then relayed to dray what he saw that there were two bandits in the ally between the hospital and some other building, in the process of robbing a civilian. There were another two bandits in the Hospital storage room which was located in the basement at the back of the building and opened directly to the outside so that medicine shipments could easily be unloaded. There was just one bandit located at the hatch where the supply room opened to the outside, and two others were located on either side of the inside of a hole busted into the village wall...Beautiful... Without any other words, the young man sprinted towards the direction where a woman was being robbed.. Hmm.. Dray wanted to see what the young fella was capable of. Strecthing out his hands, he pointed them towards the bandits as visible bones shot out of them.. Dray was amused by such an ability. Was it bone control or what exactly. He was about to confirm as the young man quickly sprinted up the hospital walls. Upon getting there, dray could not well see what was happening but he could see the young man stretch forth his hands again and the two bandits that were there, dropped dead silently. No pain at all. That was beautiful dray thought.

So now, the bandits mugging the civilian were dead, the other two in the hospital were dead too making it four dead bandits in total. Now, just three left for dray to trim.. He thought of how best to handle the situation since the three bandits were at two different locations.. Sighing, dray body flickered to the one at the hatch where the supply room was as dray ejected ice from his palm to cover his right clenched fist to solidify and gain sharp edges that dray thrusted through the heart of the bandit that did not even have any time to react.
As he slumped dead to the ground, dray body flickered again to the last two who had the courage to bust a hole in kumogakure's walls.
As dray got withing metres of them, this two were pretty skilled. Seeing dray, they stood side by side as one of them lashed out his hands in a form that seemed to send a gust of wind towards dray as the other bandit inflammed the wind by using a fire jutsu. This jutsu was coming straight for dray. As the attack hit him, he replaced with a log of wood and appeared behind the two bandits using hyouton: hidden dragon hands technique as dragons came out of both his hands and coiled around the two bandits. Strangling them and opening their mouths to release ice senbons that shot straight through their necks. A peaceful and painful assasination technique. Seeing all bandits dead, dray could now see the young man in the hospital building as he waved and gave a sign that he had to leave. His job here was done.
