Description: This technique doesn't activate until the user wills it, but how it works is by tagging the target with their chakra or marking them. Once a Nara Clan jutsu comes into the faintest contact with someone, they are considered tagged by the Nara's chakra and this last for three post unless they get tagged again. Within those three post, the Nara can then utilize a Genjutsu and effectively trap the marked target(s) without even having them in sight. This works since the users chakra is already remotely placed on this persons body, but it can be nullified of dispelled by using Genjutsu Kai. It is completely supplementary and chakra is not paid for its use until after the Genjutsu following it or being utilized through it is used.
Weakness: Though it has no active effective, it can be sensed and dispelled via Kai and afterwards the target is immune to Shadow Tag for 3 Post after. If the target dispels Shadow Tag twice, even unintentionally they are exempt from it for the rest of the thread.

Description: After the needed hand seal the users shadow forms a 3m diameter semi circle dome around the side they wish to guard.
Weakness: The shield is only 3m from the ground, so if the user is higher than that, this jutsu can't be used effectively.

Description: After forming the appropriate hand seal, the user can sink into a shadow given it is proportionate to the width of their body. A person sinking into a kunai's shadow wouldn't work unless the kunai's shadow was stretched via strategical light angling. After the person sinks into the shadow, they can move throughout this shadow and any shadows connected to it. If the shadows aren't touching, the user cannot travel to it. This can be used to sink inside of moving people's shadows to travel out of sight.
Weakness: Though the user can't be seen, they can still have their chakra sensed unless they are actively suppressing it through appropriate means. If the shadow is destroyed, the user is forced to surface.

Description: Utilizing their own shadow or shadow structure that is within range, after the needed hand seal is formed an armada of thick shadow made cones will jut out from the users shadow. These can easily pierce through ones body, but since the users shadow usually doesn't cover 5m in all directions the jutsu has two parts. The first part only 2.5m worth of spikes will be shot out of the users shadow branching out in whatever direction they wish. Then the shadows and some material from the first group of spikes is used to create 2.5 more meters of shadow spikes to complete the whole 5m range. The time lapse between the two parts is undefined, but the 1st groups of spikes must be at least half erect before the second cluster can start to grow. The jutsu has low range, but high kill potential and is done at a high speed catching many off guard.
Weakness: Short range so usually can be avoided with ease by Taijutsu Adepts and higher.

Description: After the user utilizes Shadow Tag those effected will find everything they say and hear including in the mind, to be incoherent babbling. Not only does this make communicating with teammates impossible, but it also makes trying to plan ahead impossible as there is no code to the babble, so it cannot be broken down and learned. Basically making the target have to rely solely on instincts while their trailing thoughts continue to torment them, since one can't truly ever stop thinking unless they were to die.
Weakness: Genjutsu Kai, Jinchuuriki, Target doesn't speak so the jutsu doesn't activate or target doesn't speak the the user. Jutsu can only be used through Shadow Tag.

Description: After necessary the users shadow wraps around their body to cloak them in a defensive tight body suit. This makes the users body appear all black and also allows them to blend in perfectly with the shadows. This augments Taijutsu blows and gives them +1 Tier in Taijutsu power.
Weakness: While the user uses this jutsu, they cannot utilize any jutsu that uses their own shadow as a medium. They would have to step into another shadow instead, cutting down on the users versatility and overall offensive capabilities.

Description: This jutsu virtually gives the Nara an unlimited arsenal of weapons as long as a shadow is at their disposal. Touching the surface is enough for the jutsu to work while some Nara prefer to actually dip their hand into the shadow as if it were a body of water. Regardless this allows the Nara to create weapons out of shadows. Regardless of the weapons appearance it always has C-Rank effectiveness. These weapons must be crafted after common weapons and ninja tools, no abstract structures and things of that nature.
Weakness: For every "weapon slot" a weapon or conglomerate of weapons would take up a cost for the jutsu must be paid. Though the upkeep remains singular, for each individual "weapon slot" forged a C-Rank amount must be paid which makes the technique rather costly very quick.

Name: Dual Fanged Approach

Description: After needed hand seals, two panthers will materialize out of the shadows, typically to the sides of the user. The user must hold the Rat seal throughout the whole duration of the jutsu to not only keep the panthers operating, but also in existence. The panthers are of course equipped with fangs and claws that easily have the ability to cause extreme lacerations to the point of rendering muscles useless and if damaged at the same spot easily decapitation. They are not limited to ground travel and can jump, climb, even travel in the water and being crafted from chakra and moved by the user, they are not slowed even while "swimming" in water. Panthers move at speeds equal to users Ninjutsu prowess.
Weakness: The user is left vulnerable since they have to hold the Rat seal and if they were to move into an area that erased their shadow the Panthers would be destroyed. If the user were trying to hide while using this technique, one can easily follow the shadow along the ground that's connected to the Panthers to find the user as well.

Description: This isn't as much of a jutsu as it is a skill that must be trained and really increases a Nara's combat effectiveness. After connecting with one jutsu it is often not possible for the Nara to form hand seals for another technique to finish off their without losing their hold on their foe. What Chain does is allow the Nara to only need to form the last hand seal of a Nara Clan jutsu of their choice to utilize it while the other stays active. So if Shadow Possession was in effect and one wanted to use Shadow Sewing while they had their opponent immobilized, rather than forming the Rat then Bird hand seals, only the Bird hand seal would be needed and Shadow Possession would stay locked on the foe with normal strength while the Bird hand seal was formed.
Weakness: Chain is obviously a helpful technique, but what comes with it is the loss of one rank in effectiveness to the jutsu used after or through Chain. So a B-Rank jutsu would still have the normal cost, but it would only be as strong as a C-Rank. Chain also comes with a 3 Post Cooldown, to avoid exploitation.

attempted to fix, tongue swap I'm kinda stumped so I said they have to speak to the user. Shadow Cloak physical strikes are C-Rank in power. Shadow Blade's range means the weapons can only go 20m from the user, so unchanged, then Dual Fanged Approach has speed equal to users Ninjutsu level.

Cloak says it augments the users Taijutsu power so I assumed it meant blows landed harder. Was I incorrect?

As for tongue swap, a different trigger could be all sorts of things. BUT, thinking it over... Idk, gimme some time to think on it lol. I just don't want ridic triggers. I've seen shit where people make the trigger to a Genjutsu be something like seeing the hand seals to another tech.

You should make it in terms of CS. Like +1 Taijutsu Tier in power or something.
