It was about 4 in the morning when there was a banging on the door of the lonely house in the residential district that, even though it was within 20 meters of the next house, seemed lonely like it was on some giant plot of land with no houses for miles.  The truth of the matter was it just looked different and reclusive.  Vacant even.  There were no decorations and the only sign of human inhabitation were the dark black drapes hanging in the windows.  The house was otherwise barren of any personal touch.  It was two floors tall and painted a ghostly shade of white.  It was set back onto the property a bit so that it was the only house on the street with a front lawn.

Kids knew not to play near this house... The man that lived there was definitely some type of monster.  He grew bones out of his skin and has been said to have killed a thousand men.  A glare has sent the toughest bullies on the block running home in fear of the Roku Kaguya, the Bone Monster.  Stories have been told that he has transplanted other peoples' body parts onto his own body to somehow increase his ability and powers.  He walked around with differently colored eyes, one white and one black.  Children found this to be evidence of some sort of cultic practice of exchanging body parts with other human beings.  Even the parents are unsure of what to think of the man, but many of them continue to insist that the man is just sick or that he had a childhood injury, while others insisted that he was just one of those punks with a weird style of dress and colored eye contacts.

He disappears at many strange hours of the night and sometimes for weeks at a time, and during those times, kids often dare each other to step onto his yard or even, more dangerously, to knock on his door, unaware of the dangers that could await within, damning them to whatever cultic practices he does.  It is said that he somehow snatched a kid off of his lawn, killed him, and returned him to his bedroom as a corpse, missing his lower jaw in less than 30 seconds.  These were myths, fables the parents would say.  And yet, when they passed the house on their way to work or running to do errands, they can never bring themselves to look directly at his deathly house.

The dead of the night somehow stilled even more.  As if the nothingness of night had somehow become a void, as even the crickets had stopped chirping.  A boy, not even old enough to have had his first kiss knocked a second time on this house of legend and myth.  The ghostly man opened a door, and somehow even the light shining through the doorway highlighting his silhouette looked dark.  Inaudible words were exchanged and the light went dark.  The door closed and the two disappeared from the field of vision of the few insects who dared look in the direction of the Bone Monster.

It would seem that the Bone Monster, or perhaps more accurately named Honeshin, the Bone God, was even more terrifying on the battlefield. He had been informed by the young boy who had the surprising daring to approach his house that the Raikage required his presence. The going boy had in fact turned out to be a Genin errand runner for the Raikage. He could go down in history, or at least the legends of the children in the neighborhood of the terrifying God as the only child ever to have the daring, or perhaps more accurately, the supreme stupidity to approach the home of the man. Not only this, but the two spoke, and the boy never faltered in the presence of the terrifying existence of the Bone God. But his legendary feat would go unknown to the children because of the hour and that no children with an ounce of sense would be awake, nor stupid enough to watch the Bone God's house.

Upon entering the Raikage's mansion, Roku was informed that there were two dangerous - reportedly A-Rank - Shinobi within a 4 kilometer radius of Kumogakure who had been attacking young ninja whom had the misfortune to stumble along their path. Roku was to deal with this menace to the village, and that he would. But the first task was to find them. Reportedly, not a single Genin who had left Kumogakure within the past few days had returned, however any Jounin who had left encountered no danger. ANBU parties had gone out to search for the enemy multiple times and came back with nothing. This would require Roku to come up with a strategy to search out these men before he killed them. The answer was simple.

Roku enlisted the help of the young boy who had fetched him for the Raikage. Roku sent the boy out the gate of the village and instructed him to wait beneath an odd rock formation on the side of the mountain that Kumogakure wad perched atop. The plan was for the Jounin to wait an hour and then exit the gate as well so that no enemy would perceive the two to be in a party together. The boy, who revealed his name to be Kai upon Roku's inquiry, exited the gate safely. Roku then awaited his alotted hour and exited the gate as well. Unlike Kai, Roku was a Jounin and wad not questioned by the gatekeepers as to his purpose for leaving the village. On top of that, he was Head of Gate Security and needed no justification anyway.

The two rendezvoused in the specified location shortly after, and by report of Kai, there was no disturbance or suspicious activity. It was sunrise now, about the time that most Genin set out on their missions for the day and were not to return. By Roku's instruction, Kai wandered around the outside of the village performing D-Rank missions while Roku observed from an undetectable position. He walked dogs, cared for the few gardens people had in the mountainous area, and chased animals away from peoples' houses. Kai was exhausted, and at nightfall, Roku determined that it would be detrimental to the boy's health were he to be pushed any further. Kai returned to the village according to the earlier plan, but this time Roku saw Kai get knocked out by the gatekeepers and they begun to sprint away, carrying Kai.

So that's why no one could find them... They were disguised as the village's own men. The very people who were supposed to find threats like the two who assaulted Kai were the threats themselves. With astonishing speed that only a Taijutsu Master like Roku could achieve, the Bone God began his pursuit. The Jounin who were making an attempt to kidnap Kai turned around to throw projectiles at their pursuer, though Roku easily dodged and in reality, they simply made it easier to catch them as they lost speed each and every time they turned themselves around for a fruitless attack. Roku avoided kunai, shuriken, and the occasional Fire Release technique in pursuit of the threat to his village. And hell did they regret crossing him.

Once Roku was 10 meters behind the two, he performed the hand seals necessary for his Bone Golem technique. A humanoid figure seemingly grew from the ribcage of Roku as he continued his pursuit over boulders and down the mountain. He lost a bit of speed, but because his speed was already superior to his opponents' and they were burdened with carrying the boy - at least one of them was - Roku still managed to keep up. Once his Golem was fully formed, it looked to be like a man with no skin and muscle that looked like bone. This Golem had the same speed as Roku, and they both easily managed to catch the dangerous ninja.

The Golem attacked the female, the ninja not carrying Kai. She gave a fruitless effort to defend herself as she blasted a Katon: Great Fireball Technique at him. However, because he was made of the bone of the Shikotsumyaku, the Bone Golem quite easily ran directly through the fire and tackled the woman. She let out a scream as the Golem continually punched her face while on top of her. After about 6 punches, her head was reduced to goo and the Golem was dispelled. Meanwhile, Roku himself attacked the male carrying Kai. This was did not include nearly as much gore, because as soon as the man saw what happened to his partner, he immediately stopped and surrendered. He placed Kai on the ground and sunk to his knees. He placed his hands behind his head and pleaded. However, Roku's mission was to kill, so he completed his mission with the use of a kunai applied to the man's throat.
