-------------------
It was Keita's first mission after becoming a genin, and it was several days after becoming a fully fledged genin, and instead of being excited like the other people, he was simply a bit bummed that he was starting late, compared to his own standards. He brushed that off from his mind, and then walked away from the administration offices, holding a small brown parcel with the words "do not bend" in red letters across it. It felt like there was a bit of heavy card stock inside of it, and Keita guessed it might be a stack of cards or other important documents related to people. He wasn't allowed to look inside of it, and although he was a bit curious, he didn't really care about the contents of the parcel, only that it needed to be delivered within the next hour to the outskirts of the village. this task seemed fairly easy, and it was a D ranked mission after all, so he felt like he didn't need to push himself.

He wanted to get there as fast as possible, and started out mapping the best possible solutions and route to get there. There was also the heavy mist scenario, the fact that the parcel instructions said not to bend it, there must be something valuable inside of the parcel, and Keita wanted to keep it out of the mist as much as possible. He was walking through the street, keeping the parcel inside of his vest to keep it from the mist and wetness of the village, while walking through town. Since he was holding a parcel in such a peculiar manner, he got a bit of stares and murmurs from people, before there was a chuunin stopping him.

"What's your name, rank, and what are you carrying? We got reports of a suspicious young man carrying something."

Keita bumped into the man, looking around wondering why everyone was staring at him and too busy with that to notice the chuunin. Keita sighed, and then showed the man his mission scroll from the administration office, and started laughing.
"Sorry, I was just trying to keep it out of the mist so it wouldn't get wet."

Keita's innocence took the man back, much like his adorableness did at times, and the man looked at the scroll for a moment and then shooed him off. The package was delivered a few minutes later, as Keita decided to pick up the pace. Keita was looking at the portly woman that he handed the package to, and then bowed to her, although he was actually wanting her to open the package in front of him so he knew what it was he was transporting. The door was simply closed, and he didn't get any closure and just sighed. That was sort of an unfavorable mission, as he bumped into a chuunin and made himself look like a troublemaker, and then he didn't even get to see what he was delivering.

"Meh."

Mission Name: Walking the dogs
Quantity: Infinite
Type: Normal
Mission Rank: D
Mission Reward: 200 Ryo
Mission Description: Walk the dogs of the local lazy villagers. They will pay you handsomely for this simple task.
----------------------------------------------
Keita had yet another mission on this fine Kirigakure morning, the sun was shining brightly outside, but was still threatened by light clouds dotting the skies. If the sun wasn't careful, it would be swallowed up by a cloud, and then Kirigakure would be it's normal, dreary place. Keita smiled at the thought that the sun had to be careful, and then simply walked towards the administration building. Requesting missions was actually pretty fun, and he liked to talk with the chuunin that were stationed in the administration building that handed out the missions. Once he filled out the proper paperwork, Keita was asked which mission out of a few he would like to complete, and he chose one where he got to walk dogs. He loved animals, from a very early age, and apparently there were people in the village that didn't really care to walk their own dogs, because of laziness, or perhaps they were too busy with other things. Regardless, Keita didn't like to make blind assumptions considering he didn't have all the answers. He was small, but lucky for him, there were only three dogs that needed walking that day, and so he was sent on the task to go and pick them all up together. The people who asked for the mission to be completed were the ones providing the leashes, but Keita grabbed some plastic bags, just in case the dogs wanted to relieve themselves somewhere they weren't supposed to.

The first house was a small apartment type building near the Kiri marketplace, and there was a man there that looked like he was definitely stressed from work and hadn't had sleep in a while. Keita could definitely relate, and the dog was small and energetic, and especially noisy. The man was grateful to be rid of the dog for a few hours. The second house was a nice old woman that was simply too old to take her two dogs out for walks anymore, and it seemed that she was making the village quite a bit of money by herself by having them walked once a week. It wasn't a terribly large sum of money to have a super simple mission like that carried out, but it was still enough when you built it up over several months or a year. So those were the three dogs in total, and Keita began leading them down the street. He had been practicing taijutsu, so while he may have been a bit small and light, he still had good footing and a center of gravity, so he wasn't being pulled around by the dogs. There were three dogs, each of varying heights, a small fluffy white one that reminded Keita of a miniature poodle, but was definitely mixed with something else, a medium sized pure-bred shiba-inu, and then a large mastiff, which was larger than the other two and Keita combined, but he was fairly well behaved and didn't try to pull Keita around too much.

Walking them for a couple of hours was easy, and eventually the dogs seemed to take a liking to Keita, as they seemed guarded at first. He assumed this was because they had a special sense about the Mushikoro in Keita's heart, as animal instincts weren't often wrong. After bringing the dogs back to their owners, he headed to the administration building with his arms a bit sore from holding onto those leashes.
